“Very comfortable hotel in a great location, only 10 mins walk from shops, restaurants, MEN & opera house. Newly decorated triple room had all necessary amenities & there was a very snazzy system of getting back in the room at 3am without waking the owner up!! Definitely recommended & I'll definitely go back.”

It is really close to the city center and the bus stop is 2min walkimg. The room was clean and confortable. The reception was not really 24-hour, there was a phone to call at any time. We couldn't let our luggage at the reception and we had to carry it during the last day. There was a lot of noise on the room from the streeat cause the windows didn't close properly and the hotel is located on a main road. The wc was always dirty and during all the weekend was not cleaned.

Self checkout. I was given a number to call early in the morning and was able to check out at my convenience. I was allocated room number 9 which is just opposite the Salford Station, hence throughout the night, there was the rumbling of cargo trains passing all night long. It would/should be possible to use appropriate insulation to block out the noise. Also the room is just next to a major road which just compounded the problem ..... noise from frequent trains passing thro Salford Station and from traffic on the busy road just outside. Room 9 [being on 2nd floor has a street light just outside the window and no blinds or good enough curtains to block out the light. Hence, I had a fairly brightly lit room throughout the night frustrating my effort to get a good night's sleep.

Room was very clean with an excellent shower. Overall it was great place for a 1 night stay. Shame about having to share the toilet but that was made clear at the time of booking and the price reflects this. We didn't like the atmosphere in the bar. Too many youngsters smoking suspicious substances and unfortunately a fight broke out later on. However, once we went up to our room it didn't affect us. Our room was on the main road which was busy all night so if your're a light sleeper I would ask for a room to the back of the hotel.

The place is very friendly, so leaving after staying in it very warm impressions. And it is also a bar so you can have a pint comfortably in the evening. The noise of traffic from the street, so be ready and take with you the ear plugs for good sleeping.

Location. Even though no breakfast the superb location means big choice of pubs for dinner and cafe & fast food for breakfast. Nice new room. Noisy Didn't sleep well at all, noisy location foor people and traffic and the double glazing was poor fit, kept checking the window wasn't open! Shame, new double glazing would double value of room...

It was a clean place and the staff was friendly. The location was very good for us as did not bring my car. I would have no problems stopping here again. Although there was only 2 of us I ended up booking the triple room for £75 ( no availability in whole of manchester ) so bearing that in mind I suppose it wasnt bad value. This is a comment regarding most hotels these days. They all charge a lot of money just for a room. Breakfast should be included. Luckily I located the nearest wetherspoons pub for breakfast. The salford arms entrance/ exit is a bit strange but it is for security reasons so I will forgive that.

Very clean place to stay. Lee the proprieter very friendly. Close to city centre. Shared toilet however not a problem to me ( cant say that for my boyfriend ). Lack of privacy to shower area in room. Could have had a shower screen around the shower. Street noise.

Fantastic location to men arena, only a short walk to city centre. Staff very helpful and friendly and pub was very entertaining. There was a lot of noise from traffic outside, however I planned ahead and brought headphones and an mp3 player. Noise wasn't a problem then.
