Originally built as a guest residence for the monks of nearby Evesham Abbey, this gorgeous Tudor manor, with its beautifully restored coach house and granary is a peaceful haven from which to enjoy Shakespeare's homeland.

In the evenings you can relax in front of warming log fires in the oak-paneled rooms, and enjoy candlelit dining in the award-winning restaurant before retiring to your welcoming bedroom.

Recreational facilities include a tennis court. There are excellent facilities for the smaller meeting or conference.

Salford Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies and is happy to host all or part of your wedding day. The venue can cater from 20 to 130 guests. A choice of rooms are available to cater from the larger and more elaborate events, to smaller and more intimate occasions. Use of a marquee is available.

Food & beverage

Bar:
The Stratford Bar is located in the oldest part of the building dating back to 1470. The cozy bar with padded leather armchairs and burnished oak paneling is perfect for that pre-dinner drink. For lighter meals, the Stratford Bar offers a delightful alternative in which to sit, relax and enjoy a glass of wine over a light snack.

Restaurants:
The Stanford Room is full of tradition. Oak walls, a large fireplace and original mullioned windows create a warm and welcoming room. This AA rosette restaurant is open to residents and non-residents alike for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Minstrels Bistro offers an alternative dinning experience. Enjoy the outdoors indoors within a contemporary conservatory. Ideal for morning coffee, light lunches, family Sunday lunches, afternoon tea and evening meals.

Room information

Rooms are either located in the main building or in Tudor Court. Each room has a work area and an easy chair.

The standard rooms vary in size and style, but all retain the feel of this historic manor house. The executive rooms are larger in size and feature a four-poster bed.

Area information

The hotel is close to Stratford Upon Avon, Broadway and the whole of the lovely Cotswolds. The so-called 'Shakespeare country' is right on the doorstep.
