The main reason I booked the holiday inn was its closeness to old trafford.It was my first time staying there and it definatley wont be my last time staying there.The room was excellent .Beds were really comfortable.I Cant praise the staff high enough.every staff member I dealt were were really polite and helpfull.I Would have no hesitation reccomend this hotel to friends and family

Perfect location for an evening at the Lowry Theatre. Travelling into Manchester for shopping was so easy using the Metrolink.

Next door room No: 617 occupants very noisy until 2am - when I requested reception to deal with it they responded within 15 minutes, so was pleased with that. Smoke alarm went off in room at 05.00 hrs very noisy, probably would have caused heart attack in elderly.

Very friendly staff. Clean, warm room. Lack of a restaurant, although there are a few close by. One of the lifts was out of service for a couple of days. No big deal, just a bit of an inconvenience.

We liked the staffs' friendly,helpful and professional service. The atmosphere was relaxed. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good too. The lift made us anxious as it was noisy and rattly,and appeared to be struggling !

Modern facilities & very clean & breakfast included in the price. Free onside parking was a bonus. The fact uk don't serve real sausages but the rest of fantastic value for money.

Thje staff at reception were excellent with a great balance of friendliness and efficiency. Hotel was in a great location with easy access to the city centre without the noisiness of a city centre hotel. The only downside was the quality of the bed. Having obviously been mostly used for single occupancy of a double room the bed rolled you into the middle despite which side you tried to sleep on.

Good value for money, quiet, comfortable. Pleased that the room cleaner rushed downstairs with our phone charger which we had left in the wall socket. Breakfast can be a bit haphazard in terms of availability of items, and buffet area too small for amount of people using it. But not a serious problem overall.

The experience was great from the moment we entered. The receptionist (Stan) was terrific with my 11 year old daughter, the room was nice and clean as well as comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, in addition a female member of the breakfast staff was particularly helpful to my daughter. All in all it was a great time at the hotel, well done!

Nothing was too much to ask for. The hair dryer was hard to use as you had to keep your thumb on the button to make it work tjhis made it very sore.

My partner and I decided to get away for a few days and try and get some Christmas shopping done. The hotel was lovely I have no complaints. The location was perfect, trams ran 5 min walk from hotel taking you into city centre. I would definately use this hotel again.
