In a quite location compared to other hotels, free parking onsite great if disabled. Breakfast was suprisingly good loads of choice. Rooms great, very clean and great quay view through window. In walking distance to Lowry shopping outlet, and many restaurants, mexican, franky & benny's and beefeater. Trams a short walk away. City centre a short drive away. In all a Great place to stay.

Location was superb, access to Trafford centre and Manchester city centre excellant. Lovelly setting and easy to drive to from all routes. Cleanliness in breakfast/bar areas could have been better, decor looking a bit tired.

The things i liked were the location for old trafford, lowry museum, war museum and the easy acess to the city centre. The rooms were clean, staff friendly and the breakfast was quite good. The only thing i can complain about were the cost of drinks at the bar, i thought they were too expensive.

Good location to old trafford- 10 to 15 mins walk - can see it from hotel which is the reason we stayed here. Tram stops close to hotel so it is handy to get here. Staff were helpful - helping me find travel arrangements to liverpool from the hotel when we were checking out. Good that breakfast is included in rate. Lift was a bit dodgy, only used once because for 1 - it was very shaky at that time and 2 - it seemed to be out of order other times we were passing. Breakfast was included in room rate which is obviously good, however there was a lack of selection of hot food - only sausages, scramble eggs and beans and to us it didnt taste the nicest - we still ate it tho. Room was a little noisy with the air conditioning. Room card stopped working at one point - had to get it reactivated .I have stayed in other holiday inn express which were better and cheaper (different city tho). Shower has shower curtain and not shower door.

Hotel was in a great location with easy access to the city centre without the noisiness of a city centre hotel. The only downside was the quality of the bed. Having obviously been mostly used for single occupancy of a double room the bed rolled you into the middle despite which side you tried to sleep on.

Good value for money, quiet, comfortable. Pleased that the room cleaner rushed downstairs with our phone charger which we had left in the wall socket. Breakfast can be a bit haphazard in terms of availability of items, and buffet area too small for amount of people using it. But not a serious problem overall.
