Holiday Inn Express Manchester - Salford Quays  

The main reason I booked the holiday inn was its closeness to old trafford.It was my first time staying there and it definatley wont be my last time staying there.The room was excellent .Beds were really comfortable.I Cant praise the staff high enough.every staff member I dealt were were really polite and helpfull.I Would have no hesitation reccomend this hotel to friends and family

Unqiue situation on the Quay. Easy to get to. Warm welcome and excellent service.

Convenience

Good location to old trafford- 10 to 15 mins walk - can see it from hotel which is the reason we stayed here. Tram stops close to hotel so it is handy to get here. Staff were helpful - helping me find travel arrangements to liverpool from the hotel when we were checking out. Good that breakfast is included in rate.

Lift was a bit dodgy, only used once because for 1 - it was very shaky at that time and 2 - it seemed to be out of order other times we were passing. Breakfast was included in room rate which is obviously good, however there was a lack of selection of hot food - only sausages, scramble eggs and beans and to us it didnt taste the nicest - we still ate it tho. Room was a little noisy with the air conditioning. Room card stopped working at one point - had to get it reactivated .I have stayed in other holiday inn express which were better and cheaper (different city tho). Shower has shower curtain and not shower door.

Very friendly staff. Clean, warm room.

Lack of a restaurant, although there are a few close by. One of the lifts was out of service for a couple of days. No big deal, just a bit of an inconvenience.

Very good location, in great surroundings. Close to old trafford. Very comfortable rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Thje staff at reception were excellent with a great balance of friendliness and efficiency. Hotel was in a great location with easy access to the city centre without the noisiness of a city centre hotel.

The only downside was the quality of the bed. Having obviously been mostly used for single occupancy of a double room the bed rolled you into the middle despite which side you tried to sleep on.

Location is perfect

Clean, convenient, polite staff, good location.

Nothing was too much to ask for.

The hair dryer was hard to use as you had to keep your thumb on the button to make it work tjhis made it very sore.

Staff were friendly and very obliging. Lovely position
