There are no words that can adequately describe how much we enjoyed our stay in this magnificent home. Our hosts were most welcoming and friendly with cleanliness and comfort way above expectation. A perfect find and we can thoroughly recommend staying here.

The wonderful couple who made us feel so welcome, the absolute attention to detail, the perfect breakfast, the great guests - well there was everything to rave about and nothing to complain about! Will definately visit again this year if they will have me!

Just such a different experience from your normal hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and the welcome made us feel like friends instead of clients. The house is a treasure trove of collections and we were shown around the various rooms(of which there are many) We could come and go as we pleased through our private entrance. Will recommend to all our friends thank you Paul and Allan

Needed stronger light for reading but that is nit picking.

We were made most welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left by Alan and Paul. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were happy to make you feel part of their magnificent home. Attention to detail was paramount in their quest to impress; immaculate bedrooms, thoughtful treats and super delicious hearty breakfasts which set you up for the day. Probably the friendliest and most beautiful place we've ever stayed at.

Everything! The staff seem to be doing their excellent job for fun, not for anything else! Very very helpful and forthcoming. Location is great (once you find the exact place). Room, though not too big, tastefully decorated. All in all a wonderful stay we will not forget.

Everything was up to perfection. I mean it!
