The location could not be better. Probably one of the finest breakfasts and choice we have ever had. Friendly attentive staff, excellent view from the dining area. Close to all amenities, would certainly return to this hotel for a holiday. Housekeeping kept us going with lots of tea and coffee.
Branded tea and coffee in room Bottled water. A nice clean restaurant with pleasant & efficient staff. Warm greeting, THE VIEWS A wonderful spacious room (102) Car parking, free and on the doorstep. The relaxed and easy atmosphere We were there to relax and that is exactly what we did.
TV signal weak and not all channels available.( with the views it did'nt really matter)
The restaurant is superb.
Nothing to dislike
Position, size of bedroom, excellent reception, friendly staff.
Bed uncomfortable-quality of food could be better.
The location was superb and so was the food. The staff were also friendly and helpful.
The bed was not very comfortable and the bathroom a bit on the small side. Also, could not access the wi-fi which was supposed to be free supply.
Beautiful location, extremely friendly service, great food
The views from the restaurant are absolutely stunning. We chose to eat in the hotel each evening and were very pleased with the choice and quality of the food. The staff serving were all very friendly and helpful.
View from bedroom & bar/restaurant. Breakfast & food in bar/restaurant. Staff very friendly
Wifi a bit hit & miss
The Staff where great they could do enough to help me. The rooms where clean and tidy. The bar and restaurant were good with a great outside space to sit next to the water.
I felt it was a bit pricey for what it was
Overpriced but comfortable. Weather prevented us from using any facilities
The sheets had a very strong smell of bleach which affected us sleeping.
Very good location, spacious room with great views
Have tried to cut corners with refurbishment using some of existing fixtures, which does not work.
Front of house staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to try and meet your needs.
No lift! Carpets and paint work a bit shabby.
we loved the location and the views were amazin. xx
thought the drinks in the bar were very expensive.
The view from the bedroom was excellent, the size of the room was perfect, it was light and airy and spacious. Very clean. Breakfast in the room was a good option to have, and the service from staff was always really good. The restaurant food also lovely.
The hotel was a bit away from other bars and pubs, with no actual promenade to walk along, just the small area in front of the hotel. A drive into Poole or Sandbanks rather than a leisurely stroll as I had imagined. To get anywhere, you had to go back along the busy main road.
Good settings nice gardens and bar and views over harbour
Due to excellent weather room was very hot and VERY difficult to open patio sliding door. Just needed some lubrication on lower runner to resolve.
Good value for money, all staff are friendly and helpful, food in the main bar / restraunt is nice. The location is amazing as we had a sea view room with balcony which you could see all the bay, harbour & brownsea island. We ended up extending out stay by 2 nights and wanted to extend it further for another two after this but was fully booked as we didn't want to go home. I highly recommend this hotel but make sure you book In advance to avoid disappoint!! Very competitive rates for this sought after area to. Also the jetski safari we went on is run & operated opposit the hotel would highly recommend that to.
The fact we had to leave! No but the only thing I can think of really is if you like your mobile phone or use of it to find local restraunts/ pubs attractions etc the mobile reception is terrible almost non existing & for us the hotel wi-fi was well on and off. There didn't seem to be any consistency with the wi-fi strength!!! That's the only thing that we didn't like an was annoying.
excellent food and staff
room a little small. facing rear of property.
size of room and bathroom
the staff in the restaurant need some training. breakfast orders were being sent to wrong tables and some people waiting quite a long time for the meals
The location was very convenient for our visit
The hotel was very noisy as there was a wedding going on and very many people in the bar. We had to take our drinks to our room which was a great shame as the location is lovely. We needed to leave early and the breakfast starting at 8.30 meant we did not get any - an early option would be good.
Great location,bar and food good
Over priced rooms and they need upgrading Service average Would not stay again
The hotel is in a great location with good views of the sea. Breakfast was good and we had a meal on the first evening which good value for money. The hotel is a little tired but overall for 2 nights it was fine
For what it would cost I would replace all of the door number plates, they are really scuffed and that first impression is one of, mmm could do with a refurbish.
the views, food, the exceptional way they decorated the dining room for our venue,
I am disabled and had to use stairs to get to my room which I found hard, they said I had been made aware of this but I had'nt
Superb location with fantastic views across the harbour, tucked away from the busy road but still very central to Sandbanks & shops. Very helpful staff who upgraded us to room with fantastic views when we requested a twin room. Definitely worth the money and will be visiting again soon!
Great place with lovely view on the harbour and very friendly staff.
We liked the sea views, quiet and clean, very helpfull staff who made us feel welcome, dining excellent good to see a gluten free option.will come again.
