Room upstairs on 3rd floor.... a little bit of a hike.
Beautiful location Fabulous breakfast Very friendly staff
The sheet snd mattress protector would not stay in the mattress. Sorry
Wifi is very poor in the rooms
Friendly Staff Nice views Location
Noise from the bathroom fan next door
No working wifi in the room Tv remote control not working Tv reception very poor Shower head not wirking due to calcification of the dhiwer head Bed sheets too small for size of bed Door lock not working Bar area food serving has to be ordered at bar even when restaurant empty apart from my party of 6 wishing to order starters and mains and drinks. We were all supposed to go to the bar to order rather than them offering to help and come to our table. Poor attitude and not service minded in general. Hotel feels musty and in need of an upgrade.
Good size very clean room very helpful friendly staff Good location with on site parking
Two of the staff at breakfast had got very bad colds and were constantly coughing and sneezing which was not desirable in close proximity of food
Location and view from our room - lovely staff and great food! We normally stay in the Sandbanks hotel but this was booked up so used this one - so glad we did as will use this one now instead! We were only supposed to stay for one night but stayed for an extra night! 10 out of 10!
Having to go home!
Room and facilities good to excellent.Car park good.Overall experience very satisfactory.
Some female talking too loud about their social lives and some coughing in the dining area.
Decor could use an update.
Gorgeous views, comfy rooms. The food was, well, atrocious but they delivered it so nicely that it was hard to be upset.
Salt, salt, salt, cremated fish, microwaved waffles.
Everything. A really nice place to stay.
Location Free parking Wifi
Hard bed Get your own cutlery when you dine Room very cold as no one switched the radiator on

Room was large Staff were helpful Clean everywhere Restaurant very good value and good service
Breakfast was not up to standard. Cooked food was kept warm so was not like a cooked breakfast.
Bed very comfortable shower perfect + toiletries menu good excellent breakfast waiters & waitresses very quick as was the bar staff and receptionist plenty of parking space also very clean room all in allnothing to moan about
Tv could have been bit bigger not that we watched much in the 3 days we were there also w/f could have been better
This was our second visit to Salterns and found it ideal for a short break. Very clean and the food was excellent. Good value for money.
No problems at all.
Dogs very welcome in the bar area
Staff were excellent and very respsonsive and polite. My room was automatically upgraded FOC to a side seaview. Which was a lovely surprise. Room was enourmous with a fabulous bath adn a great view. Although the plug got stuck on the second morning. Bed was amazing as I have a back condition.
Service was a little slow for breakfast, but I am guessing everything was cooked to order. Looking a little tired in the bedrooms
Bedroom looked like it had been recently refurbished. Breakfast very good nice bar/lounge area. Location.
We have stayed here a few times. However this time the room although very nice was unbearably hot and yes the heating was not on and it was mid October. There was a fan, but this was noisy and ineffectual in blowing hot air around the room. Although you could open the door and window, these both led on to a communal balcony, so once we were going to sleep we were not comfortable in leaving them open security wise. When we reported this to the receptionist in the morning we were offered £30 refund, but I would have preferred a decent nights sleep.
Very friendly staff, excellent location
Friendly staff Comfortable room and bed
