Located in a very quiet area, ideal for a nice relaxing getaway. Very nice settings and close to many interesting attractions. A lot of reviewers complain about room size, for me its not an issue, everything we needed was provided (If you wanted your usual more luxury items in the bedroom then you should stay at home), and anything else we needed was provided by the friendly staff. |

The setting was rural with the chickens n ducks & if it had been a little warmer it would have been pleasant to sit out with a glass of wine. The food & service were excellent. |

The setting was peaceful and ideally situated for exploring Torbay and Dartmoor. The room was a good size with lovely views The bed was rather hard and uncomfortable. The restaurant was not equipped to deal with a large party and serve other guests in a reasonable timescale although the food when it came was excellent |

The location was great a very beautiful setting, the best aspect of our stay was the welcome and attention from every member of staff particularly nigel the owner they are very knowledgable about the area which meant we could make the most of our stay. We can't wait to go back as soon as possible. The food was excellent I would highly recommend the hotel to anybody wanting a relaxing break. The room was rather small but adequate for us |

We were upgraded to a room with patio We were not the only couple to be served a starter different to that ordered. The food was delicious non the less. |
