Offering stunning panoramic views over the English Channel from atop the Pegwell cliffs, the Pegwell Bay Hotel is ideally situated.
Score from 317 reviews Fabulous
Comprised of Georgian town houses dating back to 1799, this charming, individual hotel in Ramsgate's historic garden crescent has amazing harbour and sea views. Two of the houses are adjoining.
Score from 375 reviews Very good
Hotel de Ville is situated in the heart of Ramsgate, less than half a mile from Ramsgate ferry terminal.

Boasting picturesque views of the English Channel and the North Sea, the charming Botany Bay Hotel enjoys an elevated position on the cliff tops in Kingsgate, near Broadstairs in Kent.
Score from 320 reviews Very good
The hotel was very clean, had its own parking and the staff were great and very friendly. The food was well cooked, well presented and was definitely value for money. There was a nice view over the sea and it was well situated to walk into town, down to the harbour or into Broadstairs.
If the sports bar was busy and you were in the restaurant then you were conscious of the noise as they was only a screen separating the two of them.
The staff and the welcome I received .
The noise from the air conditioning unit and the person stomping upstairs
Good location, helpful staff.
Room was too hot.
Very good, extensive breakfast - was expecting a Continental breakfast to be rather small, but it was very good, lot of choice. The room was nice and clean. The location was good and you can park for free on the seafront.
It was all basically good. The bed was maybe a little small, but within the realms of normality for a double bed. I am just used to my king size bed at home.
Breakfast standard but fine
Difficult to operate heater
Convenient, cheap, food cheap and good, room clean
Bed not comfortable
Friendly Staff. Short walk from harbour/shops. Lovely room.
The air conditioning made a noise outside our window.
The food was fantastic & the service from the staff was also excellent. This may not be the best looking hotel but it's what on the inside that counts. I would definitely go back. We booked for 1 night & stayed 2.
The windows in the room didn't open properly. The lift was too small & it could do with some maintenance - paint, fittings etc.
Spacious comfortable room with air condition. Lovely sea view.
Nice family suite with sea view. Good food in the restaurant. Kids loved the space in the room. Lots of free public parking space. Lovely location
Staff could be a bit more friendlier. Wifi is not the best. A constant low pitched noise at night - perhaps windows squealing due to the wind.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was clean.
Room was dated. Previous guests night dress was still hanging on the back of the bathroom door
The room was comfortable. Large bathroom. We were lucky in having a quiet room. Room size was adequate for a double.
Location very good within walking distance to all amenities. Close to town and harbour and east cliff prom. Free safe parking behind hotel and outside hotel.Food good value for money.
Check-In and out was completely seamless. Didn't have to show my card, the staff were charming, and off road parking!
Cleanliness was great but with the shower over the bath, the bath was very slippery with the new silicone cleaners. (A bath mat was available, after the event, but should have been in the bathroom).
Seaside location offers splendid views.
Saturday night revellers in the hotel's Function Room were very noisy.
The hotel was in really poor state of repair with ripped and stained seats, holes in bath, mould and cobwebs on four poster bed! Staff attitude was appalling.
The view, location, the room was nice and big, we had our four year old with us so he was able to play with his toys.Parking outside was nice and easy also.
The bed mattress was uncomftable, you could feel the springs. You could here the people on the floor above walking, snoring and using the toilet at night. This hotel aperars in the good beer guide, it would of been good to have one more real ale avaliable.
Good food and pleasant, helpful staff, and on site parking was useful. Buffet breakfast was adequate.
Dreadful TV reception even after Digi box was replaced, could hardly watch anything and was big disappointment. Could have done with Tomatoes with buffet breakfast.
Nice entrance lobby, lovely views of the sea. Great walk by the sea from the hotel into Broadstairs.
The duvets are too hot for warm summer nights. Blankets should be available in rooms as an alternative.
Mother in law loved it
Was not in room enought!
Bus stop location was good. Nice to have a bench outside to sit and look at sea. Staff very helpful.
walking distance to Broadstairs for Folk Week visit
Lovely suite, lovely views and an all round excellent stay! Thank you
