- Clean rooms - Friendly staff - Good location
- Lighting is pretty poor in the room, makes it hard to do makeup
area, view, food
cups in bedroom not big enough
The Room was brilliant for the price. Light and airy with high ceilings and plenty of space, very comfy beds. A a nice sea view. Good location within 10 minutes walk from the centre of town with plenty of on street parking outside.
The breakfast was awful. We had the continental style breakfast that was included in the room rate. Cooked Breakfast was £4.95 extra. Choice was limited and items ran out quickly and were not replaced. We got down to breakfast at 8.15 and the croissants and ham both ran out and were not replaced. Coffee was pretty awful.
Food was good value and staff were very helpful.
Lack of choice on breakfast.
Upgraded to a sea view with a four poster bed Good location everything you would need for a business stay
a little tired in places... but more an observation than a complaint
Good location, good shower and good continental breakfast.
Not pleased to hear a hoover at 3:45 AM. My T.V had a very poor reception when the weather was poor, no hand soap in the toilet and not the most comfortable bed.
The size of the room and bathroom. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The veranda and the settee were an added bonus.
The music in the bar restaurant we wanted an early night but no chance with music thumping below us till 11pm. The shower did not sit in the seat because they were an odd match. The draught from the windows and rattling veranda meant another poor night
Great views of the Sea
The hotel is very dated and the decor needs to be revamped
Very good all round
size of the room lovely four poster view fabulous food plentiful staff helpful
bed too hard for our personal liking
Service good food excellent friendly staff
Room service was very prompt at a very reasonable price and food good. Location excellent. View very good
Looked in places unloved. Needed some updating. Breakfast was somewhat chaotic with items running out and not being replaced
Dirty towel left in our bathroom. Furnishings outdated. Key never operated our door lock. Had to park on road.
Room too warm, at night, without CE being on. No soap.
Good seafront location with sea views. Only 10 mins walk to Ramsgate harbour
Dated and slightly tatty
The room was clean and tidy.
However my nights sleep was disturbed by a lot of random noise from pipes etc
it meets my needs for reasonably priced good accomodation in Ramsgate
the size of the bedroom and the view from the bedroom. The children liked the four poster bed a lot
Very noisy neigbours after 10pm who has an argument and were really loud. the decor needs to be updated , in particular the carpet and pain in the corridors the staff looked bored and did not smile though they were polite. They did not say goodbye when we left
the hotel was about a 10 minute walk from town , far enough away not to hear the noise from the seafront at night, the staff were polite and friendly at all times
we had a top floor room with a sloping roof..my partner hit his head a few times in the bathroom, even i had to bend my knees to look in bathroom mirror, not many sockets in room and only one bedside table.
Air Con in Room
Everything else this is a shocking hotel in a state of decay, should be pulled down.
The restaurant was excellent, staff were very helpful initial room 315 had air conditioning fans outside window so was noisy, but we were swapped to another room with no fuss which was excellent
Very slow lift, but at least it had one
Being able to hear the tv in the room next door-
Breakfast the continental breakfast was a poor choice and we objected to being charged a considerable more for a cooed breakfast. For what we paid for B 8 B was not good.
I had to leave before before breakfast time , the staff arranged for some breakfast for me at an earler time so i could eat before i left
room was very warm dispite have the window open all night i had a job to sleep
The hotel was very clean, had its own parking and the staff were great and very friendly. The food was well cooked, well presented and was definitely value for money. There was a nice view over the sea and it was well situated to walk into town, down to the harbour or into Broadstairs.
If the sports bar was busy and you were in the restaurant then you were conscious of the noise as they was only a screen separating the two of them.
