lovely large bed and free upgrade
road noise - but it is London!
Friendliness of the staff. Ambience of the bar area. Transport links good. 5 mins stroll to Westminster Abbey, Parliament. 5 mins more to the river, boat trips and the London Eye.
Service, Cleansiness, presentation, friendliness. All round Great!!
Staff could smile a little more,
It is a long time since I slept in a single bed. I found it to be a challenge
Liked that it was central to the attractions like Westminster abbey, clearance house, Buckingham palace, green park, st James park tube. Had pub that served great food and drink.
Woken up by house keeping at 4.30am in the morning banging and clattering even when told to be quiet. Though we did tell reception staff who was very apologetic.
Loved the location. Staff very nice. Room very nice.
Service a bit ineffectual. Fridge was out of action for the whole three days, In spite of reporting it. This was quite a negative.
Very nice room with plenty of space and good price for location
Room a little noisy as many on the corner but I live in a cul-de-sac so any traffic keeps me awake
The location was fantastic and central to all the main attractions that Westminster has to offer as well as close to transport if required. The bed was fantastic, huge and comfortable!
There was a lack of local knowledge from the staff. The toilet didn't flush properly and still wouldn't after someone had come to look at it three times. The pub food was over priced and bad as well as the order not being taken correctly! Our stay lasted for two weeks and in that time the bed sheets were never changed. The customer service was very poor when we went down to the pub to have our meals.
Liked everything, even on a very busy New Years Eve, all the staff were extremely pleasant.
We visited for new years Eve and found the location excellent for viewing the fireworks. We would definitely return.
On arrival there were plates left outside some of the rooms and were still there when we returned to our room at 3am, the smell of fish filled the corridor and was not pleasant.
Location, friendly and professional staff, cleanliness and décor of room
Expensive - but was New Years Eve less than a mile from the fireworks so to be expected.
Overall a great venue. Accomodation, food and location ideal for our trip. Staff very friendly and helpful even whilst working new years eve and day.
Nothing to report for future guests.
Everything was more then we expected
There was nothing not to like
No washclothes. Poor restaurant. No concierge. Depressing atmosphere.
The location was absolutely perfect - in walking distance of Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and St James's park. The room was modern and clean with good facilities. The restaurant attached to the hotel served amazing food at a good price too! :)
The floors are really squeaky, but this is expected as the building itself seems quite old.
Location is excellent
Location in the heart of London near Westminster Abbey, good service and cleanliness
Great restaurant. Great location. Near all train stations. Very clean..
Everything near it closed too early
Lots of sites within walking distance. One minute walk to Tube station. Great pub downstairs.
Creaky floors might be a problem for light sleepers but did not bother us.
Having the pub and restaurant downstairs. Also, the staff were very helpful and quick to respond with assistance when asked - reception and food staff (room service and restaurant)
Minor detail was that the big fixed shower head dripped (sometimes cold) water on you while you were using the other, main detachable shower head.
The location was spot on for the purpose of our visit. By booking early we had a really good price. Staff were really friendly and the room was excellent. Useful having a pub below for refreshments even if the foreign staff had poor English and seemed to be getting a lot of orders wrong.
Clean room Fresh towels Fast wifi Luggage store Attentive staff
Fridge was warm when switched on for some reason and our milk went off I was under the impression breakfast was included which was the main reason I booked this hotel as I could have had something cheaper elsewhere with meals included
Several main attractions close to the hotel. Very helpful staff - especially for providing tube details to Heathrow without the need to use stairs. Enjoyed the food in the pub - especially 'Sunday Roast'.
Hotel is attached to a very busy, successful pub - prepare to wait for service during peak pub/dining times - reservations accepted. Other food options a few doors away.
