Location... Steps to Westminister Very clean!

The pub was not a free house.

The location was great and staff was most helpful.

The beds were a little hard and we missed having a refrigerator in the room.

Loved our stay here very central and lovely decor. Especially enjoyed having tea and coffee making facilities. Very handy to the train station. Fantastic restaurant next door 'the Blue Boar' - fabulous food and great value for money. We will be back.

We were always impressed with the way this place was run. The front desk was so friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. Having the restaurant/pub next door was a very nice advantage, and the location was pretty much what people call "ideal". All interior spaces are beautiful, our room was comfortably large and (always a plus) the hotel was always very quiet...even when full of guests.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel.

Excellent location and great pub downstairs

I liked everything. I especially liked the restaurant and the young ladies who worked there, especially at breakfast. I also liked the young ladies who "manned" the front desk. They were extremely helpful. the location is the best that one could hope for,

There was nothing I did not like. There was not a lot of closet space, but there was enough.

Accessibility ! This hotel is Located in the heart of London, 5 minutes from the sightseeing of Westminster Abbey, Kensington Palace and Big ben. It's old, but fully renovated, with modern designed rooms, comfortable beds, luxury bed sheets, towels and bath robs and many other little extras were provided. We loved it and definitely coming back!

Beautiful room, great location, very comfortable and quiet.

No biscuits in room, not enough milk for tea and cream had gone off. No hot water in the morning at 8am for a shower!! And no apology or solution offered when mentioned to staff when checking out, very disappointing.

Very clean and comfortable room. Good location. Surprisingly quiet despite being right next to the elevator's shaft.

Minor thing really: we didn't get the wake up call we'd asked for. Good thing we did not oversleep.

We loved everything about SH....the staff are amazing, so friendly and always greet you with a smile which is just what you need when you are so far from home... The rooms were always very clean and comfortable. So close to everything and great value for money...thank you SH staff for making our trip to London something to remember. One block from Westminster Abbey and Tube. 10 minute walk to Buckingham Palace. Very quiet at night.

Not many restaurants in the area although there were a few pubs.

The location was fabulous! 5 minute walk to the main attractions (Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, London Eye) and 20mins walk to some of the other main attractions (Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace)

Excellent location. Nice touches in the rooms like shower robes and quality shower products. Nicely decorated.

Whole place feels tired. Windows don't close properly. Air con too noisy to turn on. Toilet rocks on floor. Not worth the price paid. However would stay again if either prices lowered or maintenance carried out

Location is superb for so many tourist spots and for the Underground (St James Park). Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms tastefully decorated and comfortable but on the small/medium size. Nice breakfast in pub downstairs. Lively pub with good, reasonably priced pub food and quick, friendly service. Nice choice of cask beers.

I didn't stay at the hotel i booked it for a colleague, who throughly enjoyed his stay and highly reconmended your hotel, so much so that i'm hoping to book my CEO a room next time he''s in London

It's a bit noisy - there isn't much traffic, but you hear whatever there is early in the morning

The Location close to Westminster Abbey, The Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace etc plus good transport links. It was also very clean and tidy, the decor was new fresh and modern and the staff were very helpful

Nothing really, it is attached to a pub which I really enjoyed not sure it would be for everyone.
