Value for Money was excellent. Stayed on a Sunday night when the hotel was quiet but imagine could be noisy. I would recommend this hotel for a short break, great location.
No double glazing on windows. Stay was on a cold January day.
We liked the pretty cushions.
The beds and mattresses extremely uncomfortable. The whole bedroom floor was uneven. Being on the top floor with a little child. The table lamp was broken.
Location View Clean Comfy
Broken blinds and furniture. It is in need of a good clean (esp. The floor) and paint and replace loo seat and shower curtain, fix drawers.
Location was good. Nothing more to say.
Dirty Broken stuff insects on wall Low ceilling in bathroom difficult for tall people.
No hot water. No roomcleaning ( not during the stay and propably not before either). Broken interioer. Lights that didnt work. No ventilation, except a window that wasnt possible to close properly.
Very poor cleanliness! Bed linen not clean. Towels stained and very old. Crumbs and dust. No heating
No hot water!
Room very basic, not a chair or anything just a very uncomfortable bed that moved whenever you turned around. Very dirty room, walls full of stains. Shower and wc in ok condition but not the best . Had an issue with hot water. Would not recommend to anyone, one of my worse hotel stays.
Ceiling was leaking, next door neighbour could see me through a window, soiled toilet bowl, awful bed whose poor springiness was disguised by layers of dirty duvets.
Heating didn't work in bedroom- had to sleep fully clothed- Nor was there any hot water for shower- all this in mid December-Terrible-Avoid this Hotel
Hotel was in an ideal location
All aspects inside the hotel were extremely dated and filthy
check in time
Not much Only good point Was that I was able to stay with my dog No other plus points
I asked for a preference of triple room with 1 double bed and 1 single When I arrived was told only 3 single beds in 1 room was possible Room was cramped and not cleaned properly Decor was shabby Blinds were broken and dirty, Floor was creaky Bathroom was stained and cramp Shower was not big enough to comfortably for in Would not book to stay here again
Not having hot water, water all over the floor from a leak in the ceiling, Dirty uncomfortable bed, Noisy, Mould in the shower, Blocked toilet and much much more. VILE place.
Staff were lovely, location was excellent, many shops and restaurants near by, lovely big flat screen tv and comfy beds...
Shower was broken and was hairs in the sink, No breakfast or dining room, no telephone
The only good point of the hotel was the location
Our room was very humid and the bathroom had no lock on the door, no toilet roll and the shower was either burning hot or freezing cold. The skylight in the room was leaking continually dripping water on the bed all night as it was raining. The noise of the water kept us up for most of the night as it was bouncing on the makeshift blind covering the skylight. The bed was very uncomfortable springs were broken and the mattress was lumpy. Duvet was dirty and the general cleanliness of the room was poor. The curtains were falling down and couldn't be pulled open or closed. The laminate flooring in the room was uneven and very creaky. There was also a blonde hair inside the bowl where the tea and coffee was kept. There was empty bottles of Pepsi and cigarette buts outside the opening doors in our room (as there was no real window). Hotel is very outdated in our opinion and although we still had a pleasant time in Brighton the hotel was a real letdown.
Basic accomodation with good location and reasonable price. Room and small bathroom were functional and if you want a cheap place to say that is central with no trimmings then this might suit you.
Not so much a hotel as somewhere providing a basic room with a key. The facilities were adequate but limited.
It seemed to be below the basic requirements. - Late check-in Charges (In case you arrive after 10 pm) - Sink didn't drain and filled up - No intercom in the room to call for assistance - The reception desk seemed to be not manned most of the time when I went down to complain on the above - No hot water till much later in the morning - No breakfast - No waste bin
wifi non existent

Mo hot water, i couldn't had a shower during my stay.
First room sent to hadn't even been cleaned or changed from previous guests so sent to another room. Out of three rooms we had only one shower had hot water so all of us shared that. Yellow water found in one of the rooms kettles so unusable. blinds were hanging on by just one side so unable to close slats so had to dress in the bathroom which had no light !!!! bed sheets had stains all over them so went and bought our own. No staff around on the three occasions we went to look for them. Toilets in the rooms were brown so also bought some bleach and toilet cleaner. Dirt and stains on the shelves, drawers were unusuable as most were broke or dirty inside so our clothes stayed in our suitcases. Would of been better off and felt cleaner in a tent on the beach.
Its location and checking out.
The shower not working and not been given another room to move into meaning I had to run between 3 flights of stairs to the ground floor room to use the shower.
It's cheap and in a good location.
The room smelled strongly of mould, the pillows were in very poor condition, the shower was cold, and it overall had quite a sad, Dickensian-garret feeling to it. I was glad to leave.
No hot water even when ran for 10 mins as suggested by the staff..Room was cold with draughty windows..the tap water had an odd taste to it and made the cup of tea taste horrible..very expensive at £50 a night for a crap room..but thats only myself and my wifes opinion..
