Excellent staff. Food is freshly cooked, very nice and reasonably priced. Free wifi. Can't really as for much more for a fair priced hotel.

Very clean hotel throughout. staff were friendly and efficient. Food was very good both the bar meal and restaurant. Parking was ample.

Absolutely nothing

Loved the staff, all of whom were excellent, in fact, the receptionist who met me at the start of my visit was absolutely exceptional. The room sizes were good for both the bedroom and the bathroom. Breakfast was very good.

I know it's a sign of the times, but the decor is tired and really needs updating, there's chips in the bath enamel, gaps in the grouting and the loo roll holder was in a silly place.

Doors at night slamming shut, but you can't mark them down for the other guests slamming doors.

Friendly and helpful staff; reasonable location, only a few miles from the centre of Chesterfield and not far from the Peak District.

The breakfast sausages - they were very bland but this is a very minor point. There was nothing else that I disliked.

Food was excellent. Staff. Peace and quiet - away from town centre noise, but just a few minutes by car to centre.

The staff were all excellent and the breakfast was also very good. The room was clean and presented well.

The breakfast finished early for a Sunday morning when we stayed for b n b. I would have liked to have the option of eating until later as it is the only day we have to relax in the week. The rooms are fine for what we paid but an increase in price would require an update to the rooms.

Value for money was brilliant. Rooms v clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful but not pushy. Would not hesitate to go back there on my next business trip.

Room décor is a bit dated (in the adjacent buildings especially). Could do with "leaving the 80's". I could live with it though as it was nice and clean and very reasonably priced.

The lady at reception was lovely ! Her customer service was fantastic!!

Draughty gap under the door to our room. Cleaning could have been better on floors & behind doors.

The best bit of our stay was the breakfast. Excellent food, served hot by very efficient staff. This is a modern unremarkable building but contains all mod cons. The room was large, there was a lift to all floors. Once we figured out how to operate the little radiator we were able to adjust the room temperature. There is a nice little bar of an evening, but beware of Sundays when it closes at 8pm.

We went to the hotel for a wedding. The staff were excellent! nothing was too much trouble, they were attentive and friendly.

The heating was poorly controlled, the bedroom was very cold.

the food in the restaurant is celebrity chef type.its beautiful!the flavours,the presentation,and the service are all second to none!the hotel staff cant do enough for you!the rooms are clean and comfty.

Good price, room quite large, powerful shower.

A bit out of the way, car essential. Bed not very firm. Breakfast average-not a great choice if you dont go for the cooked option.

the hotel was clean and the staff were lovely and very helpful full size bath with shower was great the restaurant was nice and the meal was lovely there was not a separate kids menu and on asking the staff just asked my son what he would like and prepared this for him.

the bed was a standard double and pillows were flat also would prefer duvet to blanket personally. the grouting round bath and shower adjuster need cleaning as were dirty. had to keep adjusting the room heating as was either too hot or not warm enough.

It was a very welcoming and friendly hotel. Staff very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and had an extension cable already in the room for my CPAP machine. The breakfast was great value for money and the breakfast waitress friendly and efficient.,
