Very easy and quick check in procedure. Lovely breakfast. I found rooms to be very cold even with heating turned up. Had to put extra blankets on bed to stay warm.

We had our second stay and were very happy with the service that the staff provided. Very polite and welcoming, and able to understand what we were saying as staff members were British. Also very helpful.

Staff were very helpful and changed our room after all the electrical sockets had fused in the first room Unfortunately we found an unpleasant taste/smell in the kettle. We were given a replacement kettle which blew up when it was switched on and fused all the electric sockets! The third kettle was working, in the second room.

Location was very good for the purpose As it was a Sunday night the kitchen closed at 7.00pm, we arrived just after 6.00pm and had to rush to get something to eat. The rooms were extremely cold, heating is insufficient for the size of the room. Not a comfortable stay at all as the weather took a turn for the worse

I would not recommend this hotel at all. We were I'm the area visiting friends and decided to stay here. When we checked in I decided to have some tea and biscuits that are provided complimentary in the room. But I found the packet had already been opened. They did replace it when I told them about this. The room heated up fairly quickly but even once we had turned the heating off at night I could hear noise around me during the whole of the night. I think it had something to do with the plumbing of the hotel. I tried to get in touch with the night porter but he failed to pick up the phone. I got no sleep that night because of the noise and whilst I did think about relaying this to the person at reception following day when we checked out I decided against it as they didn't even bother to ask how the stay was. Overall very disappointing and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The staff were great especially the night porter who was patient and professional during some family problems. No duvet on bed, just a sheet and a scratchy blanket. As the pillows on the bed were very flat, I used a spare one from the cupboard but one of these spare pillows was used. Bathroom was unpleasant with black mould round taps and in tile grouting. General decor in room needs updating. I have stayed in nicer Travelodge rooms for a lot cheaper.

Good location for travelling on to the Peak District National Park next day. The bed was not comfortable, probably due to a need to refurbish.

Rooms were big, clean and well furnished. Good value for the money although breakfast was not included, which was disappointed. Restaurant is not connected to the main building. It must be very inconvenient in a rainy day! Mattresses in our room required to be replaced, as these potentially can cause backache. Mixer tap in the basin is a must.

It is a small hotel (up to 50 rooms only). Very clean, good designed, good coloured. I just wanted to find accommodation near countryside or in the small village due to my travelling by the country by a car. Thru online booking I was looking a one night stay. I was happy to find that hotel due to a good price for two people. As I travel a lot in the uk that hotel was like a nice place to stop and honestly to say I did like a shower with good pressure. I was impressed. If you looking forward to stop somewhere you can stop in there. Simply to say it is a good quality in your room and bathrooom, wi-fi as well. I would recommend to stop in that small and nice hotel. If you watching a tv in your bed it is slightly uncomfortable because a bed has wheels. But honestly to say I didnt bother... Just a different position how to watch a tv.
