The Sandpiper Guest House  

Rooms and all areas immaculate and an excellent English breakfast. Off street parking and close to centre of town and sea front.

Bathroom a little small but ok. Breakfast only available between 8.30 and 9; a slightly wider time range would be nice.

The room was very comfortable and had all the toiletries and refreshments you could wish for. The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast room and breakfast were very good.

Helen and Russel were very accommodating in rearranging room assigned due to difficulty for older parents. The food was good, and service very quick. They were helpful in suggesting places to visit in the area, and reccommended an excellent local restuarant - the Ocean Drive I think.

The staff were excellent,helpful and very friendly.

The sandpiper guest house was very clean to high standard decor,lovely breakfasts,a lot of effort went into making guest comfortable.

I booked two double rooms and a family suite for our stay to vist to attend my grandsons christening. The hotel is in a lovely quiet position within easy reach of Torquay town, there was ample parking, a very pleasant welcome, comfortable rooms with ensuite showers. Breakfast was amazing with fruit juice, cereals, fruit, tea, coffee and a full english breakfast that was cooked feshly to order with ample amounts of toast and tea top ups. Lovely guest house will be back soon when down in Torquay

The staff were vary friendly and the hotel was vary clean we would stay there again and would recommend it too every body

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, sehr schöne Außenanalagen. Unser Zimmer war leider winzig im Dach, aber sehr sauber und ganz nett. Das zweite Zimmer mit Twin-Betten war größer und netter. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits (ca. 20 Min. Zum Hafen zu Fuss) aber sehr ruhig. Leckeres englisches Frühstück.

Ungünstig sind die etwas weite Entfernung zum Zentrum. Außerdem war wie bereits erwähnt unser Zimmer sehr klein.

Schöne, sehr kleine zimmer, herrlicher garten wenn man den weg in die bar wagt.

Wir kamen um 6.30 von unseren aktivitäten zurück und beide zimmertüren waren offen und die räume leider nicht fertig geputzt.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang, schönes sauberes Zimmer mit grosszügigem englischen Frühstück, man kann sich auch am Buffet mit Cornflakes bedienen. An einer ruhigen Lage etwas erhöht, kleiner Fussmarsch um ins Zentrum zu gelangen.
