Good hotel in the centre of town. Not fancy, but comfortable for a one or two night stay. Convenient for the station and for a number of restaurants. It was very quiet (beginning of the week), but it is near quite a few bars.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. A problem I had with the bathroom on the floor above leaking into my bathroom was dealt with very quickly. The breakfast was plentiful and very good quality. The rooms are somewhat dated and you tradeoff any sort of view for the fact that it's centrally located.

Breakfast nice, but hair in my plate two days. The receptionist in the afternoon, when I arrived, she was only worried about charging me immediately and demanding to leave the key in each small departure. The receptionist treats you like you're a criminal. Anybody in the desk don't want to give you information to go to the airport, you have to ask repeatedly. There wasn't never enough hot water pressure in the shower. Unable to take a good shower. There is no lift. Room service turn off the only radiator always. You arrive and the room is frozen. They charge you all the price, the first day, but they don't give you the bill until you leave. Noisy place.

The location is great and really good value. Even though we were a bit disappointed we could not eat in the hotel restaurant the family sorted us out with a discount card, so we did not miss out on a bargain. However I thought the breakfast was a bit stingy for £6.50pp. As Wetherspoons are just up the road and you could have a huge breakfast for that price. Noisy people next door, not the hotels fault.
