I went to Cardiff with my daugther who had a couple of interviews at Cardiff unis. Our stay there was very pleasant, the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and warm and we had everything we needed (including shampoo, hair dryer and shoe polish; which incidentally aren't always there even in more expensive hotels). The breakfast, which was included for only £5 extra per person was magnificent, in a very pleasant dining room. On top of all this, it is possible to leave your luggage there even after you check out, which was very helpful for us. |

quiet despite being on a street that is busy by day. breakfast was of a good variety + orders for prepared immediately, included in price; free wifi; hot water + heating working on a cold night; bathroom essentials available; room well equiped; accommodating staff - sought out a charger for my colleague from Poland, kept luggage safe until end of day despite checked out; close to station, food joints, spas/gym and attractions. hot water control weak - needs a service/updating. |

Visited friends and family in the Cardiff area. Did some shopping and on-line work. No. However, it is bang in the middle of the city overlooking pubs and bars in a busy street so it is noisy at night which could be a problem for some people. |

All staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great, especially with seemingly unlimited toast! Fantastic location, very close to shopping areas as well as bars and clubs. Only a few minutes walk from the train and bus station. |

Very friendly staff and comfortable bed. Breakfast very nice. Very close to railway station, shops and the theatre. Good price for a single room in a city centre. Decor could do with a little cheering up but other than that, fine. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was quite good although portions of the cooked food were rather small. Being above a nightclub needs to be flagged up! It was a shock and disturbed my sleep. |

Convenient location near the train station with easy access to local shops & restaurants.Good breakfast.Cheap room rate. The bathtub was probably partially blocked because when I took a shower the bathtub gradually became full of water.Being near the town centre lot of noise from the streets usually on Friday night. |

The location of the hotel was central to all the city centre attractions and offered reduced cost parking in a secure car park nearby. The decor is jaded and shabby. It is definantely not user friendly to anyone disabled or infirm. It has the potential (with an injection of cash spent on it) to be a nice boutique hotel...but it isn't. |

As a solo traveller the friendly, welcoming, helpful staff helped to put me at ease and made sure my stay was pleasant and comfortable. And the shower was among the best I've ever experienced! Through no fault of its own the front rooms face a lively street full of revellers! The partying continued late into the night so anyone who may be offended by the noise should request a room at the rear of the hotel. I, however, quite enjoyed it! |

The location is excellent being in the heart of the CBD within walking distance to shops and attractions. Lack of a lift. Extremely noisy guests in nearby room. Had to talk to manager at 2am. Should be a regular patrol of corridors. Very disappointed that there wasn't. |
