The one main drawback of this hotel is having no lift. |

The proximity to the town centre, castle and railway station. The friendlines of the staff. Too many stairs to climb to reach the bedroom. They should have someone to help with this. Not advisable for old or people with mobility problems. |

It was perfect for the Millenium stadium - but it was like a 'war zone' on St Mary's street on Saturday night! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate - it is all I could expect for a single room. I had a nice brekkie - so no complaints Very noisy on the Saturday night. This is not your fault as Cardiff is a big city where people party - but it may put some people off booking there. |

I stayed at this hotel purely as it was in a great location slap! bang! in cetral Cardiff city centre. The hotel offers secure car parking 2 minutes walk from hotel, which is reasonably priced. They hiked the rates up for concerts and sporting events. The breakfast was naff.and the place could do with a serious makeover. |

Convenience of location with regard to city centre. Good entertainment in the downstairs bar. Friendly, family atmosphere in the dining room. Comfortable matress and pillows. Water leaking from upstairs room, down the wall of my room (109). This was reported to the staff. Judging by the repairs to the suspended ceiling, this appears to be an ongoing problem. |

To be honest the only good thing about this hotel was that it was in the city centre I did not like the fact that we had to pay £140 for a hotel room that looked like it had not been refurbished since the 1950's, I did not like the fact that we had to pay £140 for a hotel room no big than a closet. The bath room needed major refurbishment, the tiles were ingrained with dirt, though they may have been clean they still looked very dirty. There was also sugar all over the bed. |

It was very near the Millenium Stadium It was of poor quality and of very low standard. It needs refurbishment as it is around 20-30 years out of date in terms of decoration and amenities. The staff were however very helpful and pleasant. |

Central location, pleasant staff, comfortable firm bed, efficient shower, excellent value for money. For the money, very little. Furnishings, windows etc in poor condition but clean, and everything worked. Would be noisy on Fri/Sat nights due position. |
