It was a great location for the Hydro. Staff were lovely & breakfast was lovely.
It was all good.
Location, cleanliness, overall decor
Vegetarian breakfast cooked beside meat :(
comfortable, warm, clean, pleasant staff, within walking bistance of the exhibition centre and good bus service into the city centre.
An excellent quality breakfast spoiled a bit by over cooking.
The draughty cold room
Very good value for money for being in The West End & a good location. Very spacious hotel too
The Shower tray had a leak They don't serve square sausage with the breakfast.
Liked the area and location of this hotel, only a few minutes walk from the rail station. The layout is good both in the reception area and the room. The breakfast area is downstairs in the basement which again is well laid out. Breakfast is served fresh and hot and is thoughtfully prepared to your liking. They encourage you to ask for seconds if you are up to it, which makes this accommodation really good value for money as the breakfast is included in the price.
Didn't like the fact that their "policy" allows them to take the payment from your card before you arrive. I informed them that this practice is now being frowned on by the banks, particularly mine, as my card had been compromised and there was now an investigation. I rather think that they are misinterpreting the "pay when you stay" clause. What this should mean is literally what it says, ice, when you stay, as in when you arrive. It does NOT mean pay before you arrive, as out the customer, need to be there to authorize the payment. This was a points losing shame. Another point, the male member of staff on reception in the evening needs to smarten up on his manners as he is letting his colleagues down with his rude attitude. He made no attempt to offer assistance with my heavy case which I had to haul up two flights of stairs. He also seemed non accepting of my informing him about the fact incorrectness of tank ng payment prior to my arrival, even after I explained the reasons why.
Quiet comfortable hotel, clean and welcoming. Great breakfast served by friendly efficient staff. Good public transport links to city centre just outside the hotel.
great location very quiet considering in the heart of glasgow
no bar or restaurant
Most of amenities great, cooked breakfast could have been hotter, but staff on all levels were very helpful and friendly.
Not a lot really, and the deal we got was excellent.
Friendly staff clean warm hotel, good location at a Good price!
Only complaint is that we payed for breakfast but didn't have any because there was no room in the dinning area both mornings we were there and we tried to get down at an early time but still only a handful of tables!
Nice clean, comfy hotel. Would use again
I felt that breakfast finished far too early 8.30 most people are only getting up at this time Staff were sitting down to a hot breakfast before and after I came down I was offered toast
For an overnight stay this hotel had everything expected. Location good and very good value for money
Had all I needed for staying.
A little bit crowded at breakfast.
good value and breakfast near between the wesyt end and city center
Everything was fine, enjoyed my stay.
Location was ideal for the Hydro as we were down for a concert
The receptionist who booked us in was not very welcoming and was actually quite rude. The next two that we came across were lovely and helpful. The bathroom badly needs upgrading. I personally would not stay again.
Location ideal for Hydro where we were going to a show. Easy to get to town centre. Good parking. Staff very helpful, room comfortable, excellent breakfast.
I would have liked breakfast to 9 and not 8.30
We have stayed here before, The staff are lovely and very helpful. It is right on the bus route and parking is just £2 a day. The rooms are not massive , but lovely and clean and warm. We'll be back. Good choice of breakfast too!
All staff were friendly and helpful. On arrival the receptionist took luggage down to room for me. Breakfast was good and staff were helpful.
There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel.
Cheap but not cheap & nasty, very clean, staff very friendly excellent breakfast & great value for money excellent places to eat in close proximity.
The only criticism I have is that breakfast is served between 07.30 & 09.30 on a weekend resulting in everyone coming to breakfast at the last minute, so they can have a lie in, putting the kitchen under pressure. However the staff dealt with it professionally.
It was clean and comfortable and in location of where needed to be
The reception staff was not very pleasant or helpful and breakfast was not brilliant
Great value hotel, No problems Comfy bed and great breakfast. Perfect for goin to Hydro, plenty pubs restaurants. Can't fault it for what we paid
Location to Ashton lane great.
The breakfast, as the room was cheap you get what you pay for.
