Size of on suite.
Noise of other guests.
Great location, clean place, good facilities for the price.
There wasnt a person on reception/to contact apart from a certain time in the day. I wanted to arrive at a different time and it proved difficult. I had to drop my bag off, then return at an inappropriate time to check in.
There is a small back street, there is no hotel and no apartments just some rooms in a house. The shower is poor.
Bed was too small
Location was great with fantastic local bakery for breakfast
Very small double bed, only very basic facilities
Extremely central and close to Marble Arch/Oxford Street. Quirky location with great sized double room with en suite. Will definitely use a again.
Only downfall is restrictive check in times. Although it's a four hour window 3pm - 7pm can see it not suiting everyone.
The room was clean
The main concern was the cold The window would not shut fully and the radiators could not be changed they were luke warm at the best it was freezing all night Also there was no tea or coffee facilities like you would find normally Really disappointed when we paid a high value of money
- noise (of other rooms) - every time some other people open their doors sounded like people were trying to get in our room.. scary - poor customer skills from staff - no English and hard to get a hold of them on the phone
the location was good. Room clean but could do with some decor as damp in bathroom too. I know it was self catering room but a kettle with tea or coffee would have been nice! Especially as the hotel prices were about the same rate in the area. The bed photo on the site made I look better than it was. Staff friendly when I eventually found someone.
detailed in above comments.
Lovely clean bathroom.
Wrong street address so had to phone, in small back street with no sign outside. Had to be met with keys and pay £15 for checking in after 7pm. Rude staff on phone.
There was no water in the bed-sitting room (it cannot be called an apartment) and there was no tea or coffee making facilities. Additonally, although the location was excellent, arriving in the dark was very scary because I was directed to seedy-looking front door in a back-street. Additionally, I was told by a porter in an apartment block on the main road (Gr Cumberland Street) that guests are sent to them but that they had nothing to do with saphire apartments and were fed up of it. I would never stay there again.
Location very good
Maybe it was my fault for not reading up a bit more, advertised as stylish, it Was actually quite grim! It's a room in a house up a back street. No coffee facilities, won't go back!!!
The double bed size is not accurate it was kinda big single bed which is not recomneded for couples. Not only this, the bed matress was too bad, u can feel the spring on your back! In addition to the bad bed, you can easily hear the noise from the other bedrooms.
The location and the comfort of the room.
The staff is extreeeemely rude. There is no lift. The location is good but it is very difficult to find the place because it is behind of a parking lot and the first impression is scary. I would never stay there again because of the staff.
The location was perfect. Near by everything in zone 01 and 02. The room was very clean when I arrived
- Noizy - I´ve spend 07 days there and my room wasn´t cleaned - Sapphire is not a hotel, is just a room with private toilete out side of the room.
Location is good for the West End Location very quiet.
Facilities offered beyond basic - no kettle, no bath mat, bath towels little bigger than a hand towel. Heating switched on but no controls in the room making it way too hot to sleep. Expensive for the poor facilities. In need of some maintenance.
Room was clean & tidy. Decent bed and nice sheets & coverings. Good location 3 mins from Marble Arch tube. The Tyburn pub, 2 mins away, does excellent cooked breakfast for around £5 so you can go there before checking out. Pleasant receptionist once you can find her!
Not a hotel just an en-suite room. No tea making. The check-in arrangements are very strange. An Email was sent 2 days before with "instructions". The location of the room was different to that booked and the key pickup address was nearby. Talking from a nearby pub can be heard, but no traffic noise. Rather restrictive check in and check out times.
The location is not on the map. Initially you will call them and your supposed to be picked up from a meeting place.Your lucky if the mobile phone theyve given will answer. You'll have to find out by yourself and walk toward the exact location and knock on the door several time before someone will answer. The photos is not the actual representation of the room. If you booked past 8pm you will be charge extra 20£.
Outside bathroom, stairs
Nooo it was too small
Nothing just near to centre
The address was wrong i called the property mobile number no one answers and i was going in circles looking for the property i even called customer service at booking.com no address only great portland place, which number i asked he said i cannot give you !!!
The room was clean and comfortable and all we needed for a short stay.
The lady was rude, submissive and made the experience poor.
The staff were very rude
Nothing - the whole booking was made out as if it was a completely different location
Didn't expect to be staying above a rowdy and loud pub, avoid avoid avoid!!
