Comfy bed and friendly staff Food and drink good
Room ( High Street) was ok But the curtains were frayed The TV did not work and the Bathroom was barely clean . Holes in the wall where a shelf had been removed. All a bit tired...
The location was perfect for a trip to Towcester dogs. The wifi was excellent. The hotel was over priced for what it provides at £110 a night though but I would consider staying here again if I got a discounted rate!
The hotel had boiler problems and we were unable to have a shower before breakfast. It was remedied before our departure but to late to have a shower! We did however receive a discount from the manager on our rate as a result of the inconvenience.
Room and facilities were excellent
Really need to up their game at breakfast, service slow and breakfast itself was almost inedible
Service in bar in the evening and during breakfast was slow. Understaffed?
Good value for large room and breakfast
Thought bathroom was a bit dated, although a good size and clean.
Parking. We had to park a 5minute walk away from the hotel.
Very nice hotel, easy to find, lots of friendly staff.
Lumpy bed :(
Close to Silverstone where you can have good food and atmosphere with a shirt trip up the road early in the morning.
Very comfortable bed and pillows. Shower was huge. Very nice. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Good location, as we were visiting Towcester racecourse.
Not enough staff in the restaurant, waited 30 minutes for our starters and then almost an hour for our main cause. We also had to wait 30 minutes at breakfast. That said the staff they did have tried there best.
The rooms have been renovated and are nicely decorated. The Pub offers good food and the staff is great.
all of it
Nice Location Nice Building Friendly Staff Free Parking
Strange overpowering chemical smell in bedroom and bathroom. Lots of options not available from evening menu. Kitchen seemed to be poorly run. Lots of road noise in bedroom.
Good value Nice people Room really well appointed Food was good
Bit fussy to check in, had to call to get someone to come Half the menu was off because the chef had left which was more of a reason to moan for the staff than it was a reason to apologise to the customers
This was our 2nd visit and we got a free upgrade to the newly decorated bridal suite, which is a really lovely room. Each and every one of the staff was so nice and friendly and we were made to feel really special. We absolutely recommend the Saracens Head
Everything was great, so we didn't like saying goodbye
The character and the service
Good location for Silverstone On site Parking Helpful staff, the duty manageress sprang into action to sort the problems and couldn't have been more helpful.
The bottom sheet on the bed stopped 9 inches from the end of the bed, phone didn't work, desk light didn't work, smell of drains in bathroom that wouldn't go despite lots of air freshener.
I liked the room and decor, decent tv with plenty of channels. Bar and restaurant had a good buzz to it. Great breakfast.
Bathroom was a little tired looking.
Thought the standards were 5*
staff friendly and helpful. Very nice dining room and excellent service
Could not fault anything very friendly staff good food will stay again and I highly recommend a stay
Staff were good although slightly forgetful at dinner but very friendly and polite
Food was just ok- starter was cold so we sent it back and it was returned to us after a definite blitz in the microwave which then made it overdone and dry- main course was ok, neither good nor bad I suppose!
The hotel was good, clean and comfortable with a bit of character. The food at dinner was excellent and the staff remained cheerful whilst working their socks off!
The breakfast buffet was removed before the advertised time - on complaining the staff just wanted to argue - one person was particularly unpleasant. On leaving I reported this to the receptionist - she was going to get the manager to phone me but this didn't happen - a disappointing end to what was otherwise a very pleasant stay.
I liked the cosy quiet room , great facilities very hot water , nice setup
Breakfast wasn't served till 8 we had to leave at 730 , advised the reception but wasn't offered any other option .
Best sleep for ages in a hotel Receptionist was great Room was very comfortable Food great value
bathroom needs updating to match the bedroom
