Clean room with comfortable large bed; good beer in the bar and excellent breakfast with good service. Some machine noise outside bedroom window but not excessive bearing in mind old coaching inn layout with courtyard/car park at rear. |

Sadly not a great deal, it was convenient for our destination The hotel was a little sad and needed love and attention, it is but a country pub type hotel with creaky floorboards, the room had a new LCD TV on the wall which did not work and a small tube TV which did, all very odd, at half the price the hotel would be fine but in todays market I feel it was expensive, the breakfast was however excellent. |

Very comfortable room, pleasant location, very quaint atmospheric building. The four poster bed was a particularly nice touch. No hot water on the first night and an exceedingly poor TV picture. Despite the problems being reported and my professional advice regarding the TV aerial system, nothing was done about it. Furthermore the staff whom I dealt with greeted my concerns with indifference and at times derision. Also the building construction made for a very noisy stay as people moved around the common areas. |

Lovely comfy bed and pleasant room. Breakfast was good with cereal, fresh fruit, including strawberrys, and croissants plus cooked breakfast if required. The room was very noisy when we got there because of a wedding disco in the room below. |

Helpful staff. The cleanliness of the rooms were not up to standard. thick dust on dressing table hairs in bath (left from previous user YUK). No remote roe televison had to ask for one. Broken toilet seat unable to repair or move to another double room. No offer of discount for discomfort. |

Its old fashioned charm, standard of breakfast, layout of bar, attitude of staff. Special offers for future stays placed on each table were all expired so should be removed or the date updated on each of them. I was not able therefore to know whether they applied. |

We liked the efficiency of the staff and the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. We did not have dinner in the hotel but we were very happy with the breakfast. Generally, very good value for money. |

Close proximity to Silverstone, size of rooms, Towcester. Too noisy to sleep. The Abba tribute band were clearly audible until nearly midnight. The drunks in the courtyard until 1am. The kitchen fan outside my bedroom window that went off every 20 minutes for about 10 mins and forced me to move rooms. The second room was quieter but the jet like turbine fans in each room's bathroom woke me intermittently. My evening meal was tasty but not cooked through. |
