Close to city center Hostess was a lovely polite lady A very good nights sleep awesome shower
Lovely family atmosphere. Felt like home.
Beds bit hard.
Food was good
1. Attitude of owner 2. Room was cold 3. Could not sit on toilet properly It ranked low compared to other B&Bs
Charles & sue were excellent hosts. made sure we wanted for nothing. Great conversations with them at breakfast. All in all a great family to be sharing their home and time with. Would be happy to return some time.
The hospitality and support I received from This family run business was excellent. They were quote supportive and understanding of my situation whilst I was staying with them.
Very good cooked breakfast, friendly couple run the business. Ours was a family pre-Christmas visit, but it's very well located for visits to a wide variety of tourist attractions. Home-made bread, jam and marmalade!
Nothing really. Because of the number of steps it's impossible to be disabled-friendly.
I loved the couple that owned the BnB. The woman was so kind and she had no curfew, we were visiting family and having a few drinks. Of course she asked we were quiet when we came back because of others staying there. Perfect location, just down the road from my family and not even a minute walk from harvester! I drive but luckily there is a bus stop nearby to get to town if that was needed.
I didn't think the price was great considering we didn't get an ensuite room and the bed wasn't amazingly comfortable. Didn't get much sleep but my partner did.
Excellente breakfast good location near to Stonehenge and Bath. Comfortable B&B and very interesting host. Good discussion on ecology and economy and mostly on values shared. World définitif go back.
The owners of this B&B are most welcoming. Suggestions of where to eat in Salisbury were excellent. Breakfasts were great, wonderfully cooked and the porridge is some of the best I have tasted. Stunning views from the front bedroom of Old Sarum which is only a quick walk away.
clean and comfortable beds, friendly owners. Food very good, altogether a real home from home. Will be going back.
A warm and cosy place, very clean, very friendly owners and delicious breakfast
The view and overall location, breakfast, pleasant company. Email to welcome me and emphasise cash only.
A bit harder to find than I thought. As advertised, the steps up to the house are a bit of a challenge. The light at the bottom of the steps was gone, which made it dangerous going down them in the dark. I was surprised at the lack of link to related things; Old Sarum was put down and the park and ride information out of date.
Welcoming and friendly, very comfortable and value for money. Home made bread, marmalade and freshly laid eggs made for a tasty breakfast . All in all superb.
Comfortable bed; great breakfast; friendly host; good value for money; TV with dvds to watch in drawer
Easy to find, pleasant hosts, everything clean and convenient
I enjoyed this B&B very much. The proprietor was cordial and uncomplicated. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. Most importantly, the cost was moderate.
Lovely views from bedroom
Very welcoming. Lovely comfortable, clean room even better than in the photos .Excellent breakfast with homemade bread and jam. Very good location. Our first stay in Salisbury - we would happily stay at Sarum Heights again and highly recommend it
We really liked the homely feel of this place and were made to feel so welcome by the hosts. The bedrooms and bathroom, which were our domain in their home, were lovely - very clean, comfortable and attractively decked-out. An English gem.
The room was lovely and the bathroom very clean. We were made very welcome. Our breakfast was extremely good and plenty. Sue made bread, jam and marmalade.
there was nothing not to like
Rooms were clean. Furniture, although not modern, were ok. Breakfast was very nice and the hostess was very pleasant.
Family room consists of 2 separate rooms, one for 2 people and the other one is for 1 person. Bathroom is not en suit as you have to get our of any of the rooms to use it. There are a lot of stairs, if you are not very agile. No only at the entrance but to access the rooms. You have to tip toe in the evening to use the toilet as the room is right in the middle of the house and the owners room are next floor. Breakfast is served in the kitchen with all the cooking going on. None of the above is serious, but if you add that the host is not an easy person to be around, the stay in that B&B was not all pleasant. We didnt receive a warm welcome. All we had was to have a long questionnaire and a lot of strange comments. We had a change of plans and had to leave after the first night, mainly because of the fact that the room was not en suite and the non-pleasant attitude of the host. He was very rude with my husband and I am only sorry that we didnt read the other reviews before, because now I can understand why some of the people have made comments about his behaviour. I dont recommend the Family Room is your are travelling with young kids or for elderly people.
The welcome and concern for our comfort
Our hosts were very kind and breakfast was lovely.
The traffic in the area was awful and getting out onto the main road was difficult.
Sue the hostess, very welcoming. Homely comfortable room. Quiet at night and a good night's sleep. Good shower, functional but small seperate bathroom.
Sat at the breakfast table waiting to eat, I mentioned in conversation that I worked with log burning stoves, the host launched into an angry rant about pollution and carbon emissions, I was shouted at and shouted down. Not great hospitality... Then he kept muttering to himself about it as he was cooking. Very unpleasant and ruined an otherwise enjoyable stay.
Friendly, helpful hosts. Very clean, tidy, comfortable and secure. A home away from home. Great location too.
