Dinner menu limited and over priced.

Friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautifully decorated and held everything we required for our overnight stay. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the wine very good. We will return.

Food was very good and we loved the fact that nothing was too much trouble to make our stay really enjoyable. The staff were so friendly and helpful, room was really clean, beautifully furnished with a nicely stocked mini bar, tea, coffee, biscuits, water and complimentary bottle of wine all supplied. Fresh milk supplied in a flask and left in the fridge. Lots of nice little touches like that and the beds were soooo comfortable ... :).

Unfortunately the bathroom did let it down a little. It's rather tired in places, especially in the shower, around the floor tiles and pipework. It probably needs refurbishing, but this is a very minor criticism. There were so many pluses about Satis House that the bathroom really was not an issue.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The dinner was beautiful cooked and presented. The breakfast was freshly cooked and served with lovely hot toast. Fresh milk in the room for tea and real coffee. The attention to detail was noted throughtout the hotel.

Nothing to fault with the hotel. The only comment to make was where it is situated just off the A12 can be noisy if you are expecting a quiet location.

We had a wonderful time, nothing was too much trouble, lovely comfortable room. A nice relaxing break for us. This was our second visit and we hope to stay again in the future.

We did notice Kevin and David weren't there as the attention to detail wasn't as sharp as our previous visit. We realise they are setting up a new Cafe and hope to visit it soon.

Once inside the building the general ambience, and the welcoming staff, were all very positive.

The location, just behind a hedge on a busy main road, with a long, unmade drive, didn't provide the best welcome!

the lounge was decorated rather poorly, the dinning room could have been dressed with linen and made to look more appealing although the staff and food were superb.

A beautiful and very comfortable room, excellent service, and food was amazing. Looking forward to staying again.

The staff were wonderfully attentive and we loved our attic room right at the top. Lovely and quiet.

The pressure for our friends to leave at 11am and slightly, less than friendly, staff on occasions.

The front entrance door is not as grand as the rest of the Hotel.

From the minute we stepped hrough the front door, the service was excellent. The food for both the celebratory lunch and following breakfast was superb with attentive, friendly and helpful staff. The tea and coffee in the room was a good selection. The siting of the hotel is excellent being right on the main road - this said we did not hear any excess noise from the road

Having paid £120 for the night, we would have expected a larger ensuite room. The shower was small and there was barely enough room to sit on the loo. The decor and lighting in the room was dark Ialthough pleasant) and the bedside lights were neither bright enough nor low enough to allow us to read in bed. The room was very warm even with the window open

Warm welcome from a very friendly and efficient team who all worked well together. They really looked after us well, and both the food and the service were excellent. Lovely comfy bed. Beautifully decorated rooms. A small country house hotel, nicely situated (close proximity to the A12 gave some traffic noise, but it was not any particular problem). Not a hotel for children I would say, catering more for those seeking a relaxing evening in pleasant surroundings after a day's exertions.

Pleasant grounds and a lovely period house. Very good staff; friendly and professional. Spacious room with period features but interesting modern decor and big windows overlooking grounds.Nice to have 2 easy chairs and a fire for winter. Fantastic super king bed with lovely linen. Big bath and good shower with lovely fluffy towels. Wonderful breakfast menu with Suffolk smoked bacon a real treat and properly cooked eggs.Altogether a very pleasant stay.

Nearly missed it coming from Yoxford- entrance could do with clearing bushes and widening. First thing we saw once up the drive was a skip with old mattress in it-not good..So first impression rather spolit but after that all was fine. Quite expensive.

The whole experience. The staff were lovely - all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The rooms were very comfortable. Everything was provided for you. The staff could not have done more for you. It was a very relaxing stay. The meal we had in the restaurant was amazing. I cannot fault the hotel in any way.

The food was delicious and innovative and our attic suite was very comfortable

Satis Hotel was lovely, the character of the hotel was really nice and the hotel staff and owners were so friendly and helpful and really couldn't do enough for you! The restuarant serves fantastic food as well as breakfast in the mornings! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Perfectly good hotel with attention to issues from customers. Friendly staff and management.

About overpriced by 3 times for the quality of the hotel build, ropey and battered with amateurish makshift build to rooms. Water failed due to rheostat trip but responsively dealt with. Grubby hallways and dubious staircase to loft room.

As far as we're concerned Satis House Hotel is an excellent place. Lovely restaurant with excellent food and service throughout was just one of its strong points. Every visitor seemed to be treated as an individual.

Friendly, relaxing & tranquil with the most wonderful food.

We stayed in the new garden pods which have a hot tub. It was perfect relaxation. Really lovely stay and much quieter than the main hotel - which suffers from A12 traffic noise

Everything! We have heard many great reports about this hotel over the years and never managed to visit. For my husband's surprise 30th Birthday present I booked a meal and a room on Sunday 29 July. From the moment we arrived we loved it - an ice cold beer in the garden whilst we waited for our room (Attic Suite) - until we left on Monday morning after a fabulous breakfast, it couldnt be faulted. The setting is lovely, the decor really fasionable (loved the wallpapers), the staff really friendly and couldn;t do enough for us and most importantly for us (we are REAL foodies!) our meal was absolutley delicious. Am looking forward to another excuse to visit this hotel very soon!
