the barman he was very helpful the bed very good for a hotel
I liked the helpful staff, close to the water, and the fact there was an elevator.
no car parking street hotel
very friendly and helpful owner of the hotel location is good, very close to the beach
- hotel room was well designed, clean, sufficient mirrors, tea and coffee making facilities were well-stationed. - there was a lift for heavy baggage! - owner of the place was most obliging and helpful
A minor quibble: no hair dryer.
The hotel was basic but clean with a very comfortable bed and in an excellent location. We received a friendly welcome and the parking tickets were only £1 per day.
level of cleanliness. price too high for a non sea/garden view as per advert. breakfast continental? really? don't think so.
Staff relatively friendly enough.
this was my 3 rd stay at the hotel. I came with my daughter. was made very welcome.and enjoyed chatting with the host and staff. also they were very helpful with any queries I had.
Room smelt foisty black mould in bathroom sink. Obviously not a room used much, had to open window as soon as we walked through the door! Very basic and way over priced
The whole place is dingy & small the rooms very dingy & tiny, noisy & no bath.
The beds & breakfast
Tiny en-suite facilities too small to swing the proverbial cat in! No hand towels by basin? Broken sash cords on window so had to be held open with a rolled-up newspaper!
Location. Beds were comfy
Room could have been better, mattresses definitely needed replacing. Also wardrobe was for a single man, no room for dresses, only shirts and trousers.
The staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was also reasonable at £1 permit a day. Also location was ideal.
staff was very friendly, the brekfastwas very good
At least one shelf in the bathroom would have been useful. There was no space to place bathroom items (make up bag, shaving jell, contact solutions and containers etc)!
I liked the look of the room, the comfort and the location.
The location was perfect
Didn't like requesting to be away from the lift and not on first floor. requirement not met. Lift was partially in our room
Staff were not identifiable, and I didn't find them helpful. The room allocated wasn't cleaned or prepared. When I located staff, they weren't that bothered with my complaint. And almost dis believed when I informed them of bed not being made, towels on floor, and dirty cups
Location was reasonable
when we got there the hotel had no record of the booking ?????? just aswell there was a room left .!!!! they checked my Email as they thought we were making the booking up . we were not very happy at this as we had children under 10yrs .Booking .come did a really bad job
room was warm
Customer Service...No Toilet paper in bathroom...... no body at reception ... :(
cleanliness and the fact that there were some people talking loudly outside in the corridor at 3 in the morning for about 90 mins!
price and location
We had a lovely overnight stay here when we came to see Pam Ayres. The room was clean providing excellent value for money at 38 pounds! Staff were helpful and the hotel is in a great position for seaside and shops. We would book again.
Breakfast to late and my daughter was running brighton marathon. So had no breakfast available staff just rude and not helpful.
Room very good
needs stronger lightbulbs bedcovers should be dyed fresher colour
friendly comfortable good value
Wifi on and off. No sea view as advertised on booking.com.
Staff helpful and friendly
