Great sea front location, room was great with a balcony
Noise from the street woke us up on two occasions Quite expensive
We loved the hotel especially the lounge and bar area, our room was spotless and spacious. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Nothing really maybe bar snacks in the evenings, one night it was throwing it down I only had sandals so couldn't go out for food. Luckily we had a few crisps etc which we had bought with us.
All staff very friendly and attentive even when very busy during breakfast.
Water pressure in our room on 2nd floor very low, reducing our shower to nothing more than trickle. Maybe due to our location high up or high demand first thing in the morning or a combination of both
Welcoming staff, clean and fresh room. Great location, tasty sausages
water pressure very low, no fresh coffee, only instant.
clean, friendly staff. good food and a excellent location.
Nice comfy room. Very clean. Great breakfast Friendly helpful staff
Limited amount of parking.
great position on prom. Good breakfast. Lift.
Although photo's show newly decorated rooms, mine, and many others have still got the 70's décor. be great when its all done.
It was a bit unfortunate really my granddaughter who is 15 and has learning difficulties, (aspergers) thought she would go up to the second floor in the lift, as we were on the third floor. she got very distressed when the lift kept stopping and starting. a member of staff from the restaurant did come to help and told my granddaughter what to do, to make the lift mobile again. She eventually got out. I said the the waitress, how would anyone know what to do and she replied you should read the instructions. Well in fact she shouted this to me. I had heard the same waitress the previous night shouting at a gentleman who had said his glass was marked, she shouted at him in front of all the other guests. I went to the savoy, because I myself worked there as a waitress for a summer season about 43 years ago. if we had spoken to anyone like that I think we would have been out the door. the Gentleman on the reception was very nice, helpful and friendly. Our stay was fine....
Location is excellent and breakfast is good
Not a lot of parking so difficult to do a bag drop. Rooms a bit dated and the same price for all double rooms whether you get a sea view or not.
Friendly, efficient staff. Excellent location on sea front.
My Mum & Auntie stayed here 20 years ago, sadly they are no longer with us now but I remember taking them to the Savoy and how lovely their room was. When I booked this time I was hoping we were in one of the front rooms as they were and I am pleased to say we weren't disappointed. I was staying with my daughter and granddaughter needless to say none of us wanted to go home. The room was fantastic very comfortable as was the lounge where we sat and had a drink in the evening. Also the location is great. I will certainly recommend the hotel and I am sure we will be returning in the near future. Carole Bush Sileby LE12 7PJ
Everything!. Can't fault the place..
No car parking space for us on arrival as we had requested when booking. Skegness is dreadful for parking. We had to park a block away.
Staff were great very welcoming We had a fantastic sea view. it was a pity we only stayed the one night.and the breakfast in the morning was just perfect.
Lovely reception staff who were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
Lift only goes to the 2nd floor and we were on the 3rd floor.
Only had a box room, so not good value and had to struggle up the stairs to the top floor with our luggage as the lift only went up to the second floor.
Limited parking Food was bland and very quick coming out
Friendly greeting on arrival. Nice room looked like it had been recently decorated. Very nice breakfast with plenty of choice and vegetarian options. Very pleasant waiting staff.
Room at the back of Hotel. Very Loud extractor in bathroom. Very loud Air Conditioning unit?or was it an extractor unit? situated outside, beneath our window which came on several times during the night. Price of my was room £99 As someone who travels all over the world and stays in a variety Hotels & B+B'S on a regular basis ( at least once a month) I can appreciate that this is a seafront hotel in the UK and can command in comparison to an establishment in the town a higher rate, but I would have liked a sea view if I had been staying for more than one night for this price. This said my overall experience here is a positive one and I would recommend it. I would stay here again, in fact it is my second time at the Savoy, (first time I stayed in a room at the front of Hotel with a sea view) but if it was for more than one night I would have to find a better rate.
room clean nice breakfast
room to small for cost. eve meal option to expensive. need additional staff to cover reception & bar!! noise from entertainment in upstairs rooms
Location was fine we had stayed there before. The rooms are nice.
We could not get a meal in the evening because it has to be pre-booked and this was not indicated on the booking.com web site. My credit card was debited on the morning of my arrival before we got there.
all of it food staff reception bedroom
Great hotel excellent service.
Lovely hotel, friendly welcoming staff, good breakfast, clean room with a great view. Looking forward to our next stay here.
The location was good, close to amenities.
We have been to other hotels next to savoy and found them more better value for money,
Smooth check in also helpful staff and food was good.
Nothing about the hotel really disappointed on my brief stay. Hotel next door had an entertainer on the Sunday don't know if this hotel does entertainment if not something to think about, especially on a Sunday as the town was like a ghost town on the Sunday. Don't know if that is usual for Sunday's in general. But on the whole very happy with my stay in this hotel.
