Very courteous and helpful staff, good off road car parking and they served a very good cooked breakfast. We would not hesitate in staying there again.

Have to say after reading all the negative comments was a little concerned about the stay but was pleasantly surprised. Nice staff and good sized well equipped rooom. Had meal in indian restaurant in huse and it was fantastic. All in all a very relaxing stayover with great food. Exactly what I paid for and got. You want to paid £80 to £100 for a room with trouser press then go to more expensive hotels but this was perfect and would definitely go again.

The breakfast staff were very attentive and the breakfast was very good. Filthy shower curtain. Unknown dirty marks on doors, walls and tiles. mould and damp marks on ceiling tiles. very uncomfortable bed. room was stinking of cigarette smoke masked by an air freshner...this being despite the fact the hotel was supposed to be an non smoking area. bedroom and bathrooms definitely need some major updating but the breakfast/dining area was nice and clean.

Room was cold - no heating until 5.30pm. Furniture old cheap and basic. Bathroom badly decorated - paint on floor - not finished off. Bedding poorly laundered, very dated. Curtains cheap and nasty. I realise that the room was cheap - that was why we booked it initially, but it lacked any attempt of basic comfort. The breakfast was again basic but adequate served promptly and hot. We will definately not be returning there cheap or not!

The staff were good in the main, so the above rating was put down by one member of staff at breakfast. One member of staff must of had a bad night & was rather off with other guests during breakfast time, then it took ages for our breakfasts to arrive and when they did we had to send them back as they were cold.

Staff did try to please although were often slow, happy with the effort they showed. Breakfast was nice and hot. The hotel needs a general update to its decore, the bedding had holes in it and the shower curtain needed washing/replacing. The milk provided in the room was off (out of date) ranging from days to months (lumpy coffee yuk!) On the disabled ramp up to the building there was broken glass which interfered with wheelchair wheels. Staff didn't seem to know how to work any of the computers, hence reciept was requested on check out and never recieved.

Breakfast was poor and service slow considering there was only 4 people and we ha only asked for eggs and bacon. When my collegue asked for coffee I was immediately accused of saying I didn't want any rather than being served. Would not stay again. However most staff were well mannered.

The bar shut too early, even though it claimed to be 24/7 and breakfasts ends at nine, which is much too early.

Stayed in worse, stayed in better, but wherever I have stayed previously I have never been bitten by 'something' which I can only think may have been fleas or bed bugs (do they bite?) You get what you pay for basically, It is in desperate need of updating, the breakfast...Hmm, the orange juice was the best thing, though the toast would have been ok if the butter hadn't been a year out of date! Would we stay here again....No!

The staff were friendly and the tv worked. The hotel, room and exterior were grubby. There was no room service. Shower curtain was mildewed. A general air of neglect, and I found it hard to trust the basic hygiene.

Room was worse than any I have EVER stayed in. The cleanliness was appalling, decor was dated, bed linen was old and unmatched. Bathroom was unhygienic with mold on shower curtain,'something' down the wall bu the toilet???? Hot water scalded hand when washing as temperature could NOT be within health and safety remits. Someone was smoking downstairs as it smelt of smoke when passing reception. The first room given had a leak from the toilet all ove the bathroom floor, however, we were moved. The ceiling in the room was awful and in need of painting (renewing). Cups stuck to the saucers and had to be washed prior to using the tea making facilities, filthy kettle.
