We really enjoyed our stay at School Farm, Debbie is a fantastic warm and welcoming host. We even got a hug on leaving!
A warm and personal welcome on arrival. Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Good breakfast with homemade Jam for the toast. Friendly and accommodating host.
Friendly welcome Comfortable, clean rooms Excellent breakfast (lots of variety: meat sourced locally, home-grown veg, home-laid eggs) Fresh water and milk left outside our door (late arrival back from wedding at nearby Coombe Lodge) - a nice touch
Too short a visit
Everything about this B&B is really good. Exceptionally clean, comfortable room. Breakfast, plentiful and cooked to perfection. Debbie and Nigel very warm and friendly. Would highly recommend.
Nigel and Debbie were great hosts. We enjoyed meeting them. Beautiful countryside. The full English breakfast was superb.
Very good breakfast, with lots of lovely fresh fruit. Extra touches gave it the icing on the cake. About 20 minute drive to the airport. Mine hosts were excellent.
Little bit of road noise at night.
Super food, hospitality!! The best guest house we have ever stayed in!!
Friendliness Willingness to help Charming Village Quiet and away from a city Close enough to the airport
Made to feel very much at home by Debbie and Nigel. Beautiful cake made by Debbie on arrival and also during our 4 night stay. Plenty of car parking. Fresh eggs and excellent selection of fresh fruit for breakfast.
Cavernous bathroom, which felt cold at times. Downstairs bedroom very close to kitchen and dining room (next door)
Made welcome nothing to much trouble very nice ,helpfully. good breakfast
We stayed for a night as we had a wedding at Coombe Lodge. School Farm was absolutely lovely, and we were so pleased with everything. Debbie was a complete joy, and fantastic cook. All delicious fresh local food. And plenty of it. Nothing was too much trouble. Even offering to take us to pick up the car. Such a lovely lady. We didn't want to leave!
Everything! Lovely room. Debbie and Nigel were perfect hosts. The definite highlight of our stay was the amazing breakfast .... Debbie's fruit salad was a work of art! Will definitely come back!
My room was comfortable, warm and very clean. It was a short walk to a pub with a beautiful view. Debbie and her husband were gracious hosts. Great breakfast! And they gave me easy directions to Cheddar and Wells. You descend into Cheddar Gorge from the best end.
- staff - breakfast - room - cleanliness
Hugely warm welcome - more like staying with family than in a B&B. Fabulous ambience - could not be bettered. And the breakfast - WOW. So, so fresh.
Wifi a little slow but workable.
Breakfast was fantastic - home made bread and jam, full cooked or salmon, pancakes were delicious.
Road outside a bit noisy overnight
Warm, friendly welcome, lovely room and delicious breakfast. Recommend to anyone.
Very welcoming host Comfortable accommodation Excellent breakfast
The room was very clean and comfortable with a powerful shower and plentiful tea, coffee and biscuits provided. We were met by Debbie (the owner) and her dog and immediately offered freshly made cake...yum. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of options. The location was very picturesque and had we been staying longer it would have been great to explore the surrounding countryside.
Nothing...great value for money and I can't recommend this lovely B&B enough.
Very friendly couple who run the property Very clean, comfortable beds and delicious breakfast.
Everything debbie made us feel very welcome even after arriving at midnight due to delays on a12/m25 and getting lost in bristol. Room was lovely, clean/ comfy king size bed.breakfast was very good So much choice.
We felt very much welcomed by Debbie upon our arrival. She treated us as if we were friends. Nigel served us an excellent breakfast with eggs right from the hens in the backyard. Private parking space. The room was quiet and nicely furnished. We were provided with tips where to eat best. Debbie provided us with a delicious lemon cake for our journey when we left. Highly recommended.
nothing at all
The owners were so welcoming and friendly, Debbie couldn't have been more helpful even offering to take us to the pub and collect us after our meal so we could have a drink! We returned to find a rose outside our bedroom door! The breakfast was absolutely amazing with real fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice followed by the best full english we have ever had. Debbie went out of her way to make our stay memorable even picking rose petals for our grandchildren to use as confetti at the wedding we were about to attend. A very enjoyable stay, we will be back!
