It was short. Having to pay to park, and not being informed of this until I arrived back home. I queried this charge by e-mail and have so far not received a reply. Not being able to check in before 5.00pm is very poor. |

The hotel is very comfortable, has a great atmosphere, and gives a warm welcome to guests. The continental breakfast is of very high quality. |

The old school house was for a great part still the same as in de past with the hiigh seelings and de visible beams of the roof in the restaurant and the bar, but most of all we did like the daily chat of the owners at the breakfast over the past day of the coming day |

Very friendly owners. Quiet location close to Swindon, Wooton Bassett and the Wiltshire Downs. The continental breakfast was a bit basic, with no choice of fruit juice, no croissants. There were slices of cold meat and cheese though, which would suit continental guests. |

It was conveniently located to other towns in the Cotswold, and a quiet place to rest at the end of the day. Also free Wi-Fi a plus! Very clean and comfortable. |

visiting the surrundings, eating out, one of us played golf. there isn't any facilities of making coffee nor tea in the room. You can only get hot water or hot dorinks from the machine by entrance.(doesn't give us change) |

Nice stay. A brilliant building and countryside surroundings. Garden area also great. The interior is a bit run down though and the decor is on the cheap side. Bathroom needs maintenance. |

The staff were lovely and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. We would've preferred a cooked breakfast rather than the continental breakfast that was included. |

The ambience. A great location in the country but close enough to visit to Swindon and the attractive small towns nearby. A delicious cooked breakfast. The lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room and the cooked breakfast, although delicious, was rather expensive. |

A wonderful 150 year old building with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The owners were very friendly and the meal I had the night I stayed was delicious. When I arrived, I found out I had been upgraded to a double room at no charge. I would definitely stay there again! |

I liked the friendly yet professional owners, the delicious food and the quiet and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. My room was warm and comfortable with plenty of hot water and closet and drawer space. I liked the decor of the hotel as I am a school teacher and so I felt very at much at home. We had a family dinner on Saturday and were treated like royalty. Next time I will request a ground floor room due to a bad knee but my room was fine and had a great view of the countryside. |

It was very cleverly converted into a hotel and certainly had character. Dinner was excellent. We missed having tea and coffee facilities in the room. Normally we have had a cooked breakfast included in the rate. Bar and dining room were not very warm. Final paid invoice was sent home by email, not giving us chance to check it, although it was correct. |
