I was particularly pleased with the friendly service - even allowing for the low occupancy! - nothing seemed to much trouble. |

Adequate accommodation, Very average. Would not recomend it, or stay again. Cold, uninviting and lacking in atmosphere. Basic and simple, clearly run on basic, minimal resources. Odd 'front of house' personel. |

The 'Superior En suite' room was a laugh. The 'shower room' no bath, was so tiny there was very little space. Also the entrance to the shower room was via a folding door not a solid room. Certainly the Superior en suite room was not superior and not worth the rate as quoted. |

Peaceful and secluded situation. Friendly owner. Did not see his wife and there did not appear to be any other staff. This should really be classed as a B&B as there was no restaurant and only a part-time bar. Our room was Superior but was small and only had very small shower room. Did not like sharing a table with other guests at breakfast. We were not asked what we would like for breakfast and were just given full English which I did not want. I would have preferred boiled or scrambled eggs |

The hotel staff were always really friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and the location was beautiful and peaceful with good access to the surrounding area. Albeit the hotel is not in the middle of town, which means a short taxi ride in the evening, but staying in such a beautiful location with that country house feel more than compensated. I am looking to going back. |
