The restaurant and bar have wheelchair access. Regrettably, bedrooms are not suitable for wheelchair access.

Creatively prepared, local Scottish produce is offered in the restaurant and bar.
Meals are served in a relaxed and traditional setting, and guests are welcome to relax in the drawing room before or after their meal.

Breakfast, lunch, morning coffee, afternoon tea, and dinner are all available. Menus cater for children and vegetarians.

There is a wealth of things to do in this glorious area between the mountains, in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. The popular TV series 'Monarch of the Glen' was filmed in several locations all around - to the west, for example, Laggan was Glenbogle village. An easy drive takes you to the magnificent sights of Loch Ness, recently featured in the Movie "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep".

The museums at Newtonmore and Kingussie with their reconstructed buildings give a vivid insight into the old Highland life. Native wildlife (including wolves) can be seen at the Highland Wildlife Park at Kincraig. There are very entertaining working sheepdog displays near Kincraig.

The area offers a fabulous range of activities. In addition to the watersports center on Loch Insh, Newtonmore and Kingussie both offer fine golf and also pony trekking. The new Championship Spey Valley Golf Course is only a short drive from the hotel. Hunting and fishing can be arranged through the local estates. Hikers also have a huge choice, from the high-level routes on Creag Meagaidh (a national nature reserve) west of Laggan, (itself a good waking base). There is a Wildcat Trail round Newtonmore, plus an interpretation trail around Loch Insh - though with miles of mountains and forests, this is all excellent hiking country.

The Cairngorms is Scotland’s finest mountain sports and skiing center, with everything from sensational snow boarding and skiing, to stunning high and low level walks of all grades. For a more relaxing winter activity, visit the local reindeer herd and join in feeding the animals.
