The manager was very friendly and welcoming. The super-room was just that, it was spacious, lovely bathroom with a big deep jacuzzi bath, and an oversized bed. It was very clean, anything you wanted or asked for the staff went out of their way to accomodate you. Would go there again and again. Even though we didnt have the breakfast or stay for the evening meal, what we saw other people getting looked very good, and next time we do stay we will be staying for the meals we couldnt fault the staff or the hotel

The Scot House Hotel was excellent the staff couldnt do enough for you the jacuzzi bath was brilliant. Just a short drive from Aviemore/Cairngorms would definetly stay there again as long as it was one of the rooms with the jacuzzi bath Nothing

Great stay (for winter walking holiday in this case), very friendly, helpful staff, handy for train too. Has bar with evening meals available on premises (useful if you've had a long day out on the mountains!)

We really liked this hotel.We had a superior room,which was huge,big comfy bed,and there was jaccuzzi bath in the bathroom,which was really nice.We enjoyed out stay there very much!Recomended!! No complaints at all.

Un accueil sympathique et chaleureux! Grande chambre très propre et bien équipée, tout confort. Style quelque peu ancien mais joli. Service au petit déjeuner excellent. Finitions de la salle de bain assez mal faite.

We received a very warm welcome and were given some great advice about nice walking trails in the area. The room was cozy and the lounge was a lovely place in which to curl up with a whisky and a book.

Traditional old hotel Run down hotel that I'm sure was lovely in its heyday. Got lots of bites (presume from bedding?). Restaurant / bar closed at night and not much food choice in the town. Most expensive accomodation on our trip of Scotland. Overall a bit depressing.

The staff were friendly and they compensated us when the room we booked was not available. We had booked a superior but were given a standard. The room was very cold with only one small radiator which was next to the drafty window. We asked for extra blankets however even with these we were still cold all night.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and comfortable and clean. It was also really quiet which meant a great night sleep. Breakfast was great, hot, tasty and prompt, really relaxed, staff were really pleasant, polite and helpful Am only saying this as I think the hotel could be even better, the decor downstairs was lovely but in the bedroom was a bit dated, really could loose the floral curtains..

Très grande chambre et salle de bain, très confortable. Chambre donnant sur la route passante, mais n'empêche pas de dormir. Réception très chaleureuse, repas et petits déjeuners anglais très bons. La connexion wifi ne fonctionne pas (tout le temps) au 2ième étage de l'hôtel.

“This has got to be one of the nicest B&B's in Scotland. It is perfectly situated right at the edge of the village with a very short walk to a great pub where they serve excellent meals. The hosts, Moira and John are the most accommodating friendly and helpful people you could meet. They immediately make you feel very relaxed and John has a great sense of humour. The rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Moira cooks a terrific breakfast while John walks around cheering you up with his humour ( we think he does this to get out of the washing up). A thorougly enjoyable stay.
