Sorry, i am a continental european, but i can`t stand the english/american style of sleeping with a single big blanket for two persons. We, and probably our predecessors, broke through the slatted frame, due to the ikea-made-bed-quality. The kitchen tools were a bit few and fare between (cutlery, dishes, glasses, old pans). Expensive basement car park.
The Quartermile-Location is a top quality-location, near the Meadows Park and the University, round the corner the old town, still quit, no traffic. We had a generous, modern reconstructed maisonette-flat (kitchen upstairs) in an old victorian apartment building, former the Royal Infimary. Personal at the reception friendly und helpful. Sainsbury´s is round the corner, so self-catering was no problem.
