from the warm welcome to our Breakfast in morning all was excellent. Lovely rooms with the little added 'extras' lovely & thoughtful.
none to report!
Although I had a single room it had every thing you needed plus a few nice little touches like sweets, crisps and a good supply of Tea,Coffee and milk. The bathroom was well kitted out and a powerful shower.
Couldn't find any fault.
Everything very clean, comfortable bed, great breakfast especially the sausages & great location
Received a parking ticket!
Friendly welcome, comfortable and an attention to detail. Breakfast was great.
Friendly staff who were happy to help with local knowledge around attractions, restaurants etc well situated, clean and spacious room
Breakfast was only between 8:00 and 9:00 a later finish may appeal more to a leisure visitor
Minor traffic noise
Proximity to town centre, cleanliness, price
Waterproof mattress cover- woke up drenched in sweat
We felt welcome and breakfast was excellent.
Marie was friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious and the breakfast excellent. Definitely go back.
I liked everything room and facilities and friendly reception
My partner and I love this place. It's clean, warm, friendly and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent.
I have nothing negative to report!
Hosts, couldn't do enough to make our stay a great experience, accommodation very clean and comfortable, great location. Food was great, fantastic choices for all tastes.
There was nothing to dislike about this accommodation, the hosts, food, or location
Couldnt ask for a better location! Rooms were spot on! Breakfast options were excellent
Could have done with a later breakfast but that's just being picky!
Went here on Saturday 27th. Was welcomed very warmly and told if we wanted advise for food to just ask. Owners were more than happy to help where possible with brilliant knowledge of Harrogate. Room was exceptional very good quality spotless and a very good size with a huge bed. Breakfast was lovely and had lots on offer. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quient little b&b in Harrogate I would say deffinately up yo the standards of the Studley if not better at a fraction of the price.
Our hostess ensured a relaxing and worry free stay. We felt as if we were at home with family! Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of fresh fruits, pastries, and homemade dishes. The two rooms we reserved were very clean and comfortable. Will definitely come back on our next visit to Harrogate.
Lack of car park. Parking your car in the street and walking to the B&B while pushing luggage is a bit challenging with small children.
The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and could not do enough for us.
No complaints at all.
Friendly owner Great local knowledge and very informative. Better than travel information centres. You will never find a better place to stay..
Very good location
We stayed in room 1 which was next to the heating boiler which we could hear firing up quite a lot. The on suite was rather small and compact. We thought we had booked B&B as the title suggest but only got room only. Not very clean on the booking process.
Looks stylish very friendly owners. The bedroom was lovely and warm. The breakfast was set up lovely and very tasty
This was my second stay at Scotia House as I take part in a Christmas Fair at nearby Ripley Castle. As previously the hosts were charming and provided everything I needed including a lovely Yorkshire breakfast each morning. The bathroom was spotless with lovely fluffy towels.
Beautifully appointed elegant room. Central occasion. Friendly and accommodating.
Excellent value for money. Accommodation lovely, great service, good food, and a fantastic location for conference centre. Lots of thoughtful extras, the nicest place I have stayed in Harrogate. Highly recommended!
everything! I really appreciated all the extra touches from dressing gown to sweeties to hot water bottle. Scotia house is beautifully but comfortably furnished .It is also spotlessly shiningly clean. Breakfast is great with a particularly amazing selection of fruit and a very tasty hot breakfast. The location was perfect as it is literally opposite the conference centre which I was attending, but Scotia House is so good I hope to return with my husband for a leisure trip as it is just a few minutes walk to the town centre.
nothing to dislike
I had a very comfortable stay at Scotia house last week. It was in a perfect localtion, right opposite the HIC and within walking distance of the centre of Harrogate. The house is stunning and immaculate. The room I stayed in was lovely and spacious with plenty of thick fluffy towels and lovely complimentary toiletries. Also had thick soft dressing gowns. It felt more like a 4 star hotel!. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and plenty of it!!. I throughly reccomend a stay here, in fact if I came back to Harrogate I'd stay here again!
Nothing I didnt like!
