very welcoming, very clean. everything was excellent
loved it all apart from size of room, food great and very good service. very warm and friendly .
wished the room was slightly bigger x
Couldn't get closer to the Conference centre if you tried. Brilliant breakfast and wonderful host/staff.
lovely family run hotel, room was beautiful and very clean highly recommend
was a little noisy on the main road, people walking past from the town were loud early hours in the morning however this is no fault of the hotel
It was a very friendly atmosphere always happy to help with places to eat and visit . Food was always fresh nothing was too much to ask for. I have already recommended this to someone else so I hope they do visit.
Nothing to not like
From arrival we found the owners to be friendly & courteous, the location as well as the room was excellent! We have always tended to stay in Hotels but this B&B experience was very good overall. Can't recommend enough!
We spent 2 nights here and can't find anything to fault. The room was lovely and the beds were the comfiest I have ever slept on away from home. The choice of food at breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. The location on Kings Road meant that we were close to all the attractions with a great choice of restaurants on the doorstep. Marie was great without being intrusive - we will definitely return.
Everything was good - room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast good.
Bathroom a bit small
The extra special touches in the room The friendly service at breakfast The comfortable room
Brilliant b&b with very friendly staff and service. Tea and scones on arrival, nice rooms and lots of nice little touches. Daily room cleaning and brilliant breakfast where you can basically order whatever you like and the staff go out thier way to cook it for you.
In the centre close to shops and restaurants, free car parking
A clean and modern hotel with excellent facilities. The staff were friendly and went out their way to make sure all our needs were met and make us feel at home!
Stopped one night visiting friends. Lovely place. Fab breakfast freshly cooked. Would highly recommend
Great location, lovely room and delicious breakfast. Parking permits a plus also.
Best breakfast of any B&B. Most friendly hostess. We felt totally at home at the Scotia House. Great lounge with creature comforts to help you relax. Everything done very professionally.
No fault found.
The Hospitality and friendliness of the hosts. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the Yorkshire area as well as local tourist attractions. The food was delicious, fresh and presented very professionaly - we would return again in the future, thank you to Hosts.
It would be helpful if the dining lounge had a TV in it. It would be great if the beds had a covering flat sheet as well as the duvet, for the hot summer nights.
There was nothing to dislike. It was my second stay and I would stay again .
the owner was very friendly and the breakfasts were amazing. Location with respect to the theatres and shops was very good.
Noisy at the front of the house. I had to sleep with the window closed which was not ideal. The wifi was a bit erratic.
Great location, attractive room, very good breakfast, lovely owners
The extra touches Perfect pillows Magnificent breakfast Marie's attention to detail Clean as a whistle So close to the conference centre Nothing is too much trouble
Marie our hostess was very friendly and we were greeted with scones & tea. The rooms are small but to a good standard and spotlessly clean. Some little things like sweets in the room and a hottie ( Not that we needed it but at a different time of year you might). Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. We were attending a conference at the Centre opposite so we couldn't have asked for more. Fantastic.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Given a warm, friendly welcome. Room was clean and very comfortable. With lots of nice touches.
Nothing to dislike.
