Clean, Friendly and good food. I was travelling on by train, so extremely handy for railway station. For £37 excellent value for money with full breakfast available and included in the price. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Have already passed on details of this hotel to a work colleague who is hoping to book soon.

Friendly and enjoyable experience from checking in to checking out. All staff seemed genuine not the false and forced bonhomie too often encountered.

Location was great for city centre and leisure facilities were a welcome addition. Breakfast service was slow and staff were frazzled. They seemed unable to cope with a rush of people towards the end of breakfast time on a saturday. The breakfast buffet was also low on supplies.

The Hotel needs some serious money spending on it. Some staff great (breakfast room)others, I got got the distinct impression i was an inconvenience and an obstacle to another boring day at the computer. The floors are very noisy the slightest movement sounds like 20 people doing the highland fling on squeaky floorboards. This is OK when it is you moving, but when the people above, to the side and outside the room. The room smelt like a can of air freshener had been emptied in the room, it was so strong it caught in the back of my throat. The advertised gym facilities are are pretty dated but serviceable, but again I felt I was an inconvenience. I have stayed in a fare few Best Westerns, this one is by far the worst. in a long time. Need less I will not be booking this hotel again.
