room clean with good decor (with a scottish theme). Rest of hotel clean, quiet and friendly. Room warm, bed very comfortable. Good breakfast. we were in a smallish room on the 3rd floor, up narrow stairs well away from the splendour of the 1st and 2nd floors. The ensuite shower was quite old and rickety.

Centrally located in town, with plenty parking. Good breakfast. Rambling hotel, awkward for people with mobility problems. Pass through dining room to get to leisure centre. Confusion over billing, and drinks charged to bill from another room. One of rooms; toilet difficult to flush and open the windows. Gym outdated.

comfy, welcoming, nice staff and very welcoming of my dog. The room window didn't open. Nothing I hate more than a stuffy room at night. Toilet roll holder was missing too and I got an impression that maintenence wasn't a high priority. Lamps that didn't work and scuffed paintwork.

The location of the hotel was very central for all the amenities in Pitlochry and we did not need the car. The family room was of a good size and very clean. The pool and leisure are was spotless. The breakfast was ample and the waitress service was first class. The first night we were in a family room on the ground floor and we found it quite noisy as there was a pub nearby. We mentioned this to the reception staff next morning and we were transferred to another room at the top of the hotel that was very quiet and more spacious.

The facilities, and the staff were very helpful. When I booked the room I mentioned that it was my silver wedding anniversary, and I asked for 25 red roses to be in the room when we arrived, when I opened the door there were no roses, the room was very small, at the back of the hotel somewhere, and the view was of a roof with a large hole in it. I told the receptionist that I was not happy with the situation as the booking was made 5 weeks previous. We were upgraded to a family room, and flowers were ordered, but I did not get the roses I ordered. I was very dissappointed that no one took the time to read the booking form.

The Spa Facilities were excellent, the food was very good, the room was warm and comfortable. We would have liked a bigger choice at breakfast to include more vegetarian and continental options.

The Manager and the staff were excellent and they went out of their way to make sure you enjoyed your stay. The room was very large, warm and very comfortable. It was in the annex which was not a problem and although it was on the main road we did not hear any noise. The food was absolutely excfellent. The quality, quantity and choice could not be faulted. The only negative comment I have is the band on hogmanay were terrible. They were out of tune and they did not get people up and dancing. When they did try to explain the dance it took them so long people were fed up waiting. They also did not annpounce when it was midnight and made no effort to get everyone up on the dance floor. The entertainment on New Year Night was excellent.

All staff very helpfull in particular Angelica the waitress Pool attendent and facilities very good Sitting and lounge areas very dull and as it was cold outside the area did not feel comfortable, the barman dissapeared often and the reception was on many occasions empty. We feel the cost of the food was excessive and can not understand why we were charged upgrades of £33-40 for dinner on the first night when I had Table de Hote and my wife had Soup and Ckicken in Sauce, second night Myself 1 course and my wife had 1 course Salmon with an upgrade charge of £29-90

Loved the close proximity of the hotel to the main street in Pitlochry. The room we were given was a family one and was very large and roomy which was lovely. It overlooked the hills and the main street of the town which we loved. The staff were friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay.

Good location in the center of the town. Really good full scottish breakast with good choice of all different things. Swimming pool ideal to have some relax. Nice room and bathroom We definitly preferred all the b&b we stayed in. Moreover the room was really little. 70 gbp is a little bit expensive.

An excellent hotel with first class facilities. The allocated room was superb. All staff were very friendly and the restaurant service and cuisine was exceptional. Lack of evening entertainment, especially with so many guests in residence.

The rooms were clean, pleasant and functional. The location was very good for the centre of Pitlochry. The staff were very attentive and hard working. Steam room was cold. Swimming pool was ok but no good for serious swimmers. The public toilet areas were not clean. There was a thick layer of dirt on the dining room window sills. The decor of the corridors was shabby.
