Hotel was clean, hower they could not offer any daft beers as they said they ran out? The food was not great, over cooked and tasteless. The food. I think they should employ a new chef that can cook. |

The room was clean and warm;the spa was good-not too busy and run by very nice, helpful young men; the breakfasts were good. The view-of a wall and a flat roof was so disappointing; the tv was old, had no remote and very few channels; the bed was too big so that it was not possible for one to sit at the dressing table if another wanted to get past- whloe room too small; the restuarant was dowdy- the crate covered with a cloth and a dying gladioli was, frankly, tawdry; the foyer needs a focus- a fireplace would help. |

Book-in friendly and efficient. Homely atmosphere. Good location for walking to and from Festival Theatre. Room had two steps to the bathroom covered by dark carpet in dark corner of the room. Potential hazard to guests e.g. old/infirm/partially sighted having to use the facilities in the evening or during the night. |

Breakfast was the highlight. Staff were attentive and friendly and the food was served promptly and was of a good standard. Two of the lights did not work in the room (304). (Main light and one bedside). The room was also on the small side. However it was comfortable and we were not disturbed. |

the value for money because of the cheap late booking deal i got many of the staff were quite moody and when having breakfast having staff shout at other staff is not the best atmosphere. their could have also been things better organised. The milk for the tea and coffee was mouldy in the room. |

Friendly service and particularly the spa and swimming pool area which was very clean, warm and with attentive staff. The arrangement of the furniture in the room made it difficult for 2 people to move around with comfort and the public areas of the hotel need some refurbishment but the staff were very attentive. |

Its position in Pitlochry meant that it is ideally situated for accessing a number of places of interest. Service was poor, the room was small and cramped, the bistro bar and spa treatments advertised were not available. In short I thought it was very poor value for money. |

Absolutely nothing. Oops forgot the pool was ok. The shower barely dribbled water. I asked the front desk to have someone look at it. If anyone did they made it worse and there was no feedback. The breakfasts were barely tolerable. The service was extremely slow, very disorgansied and the eggs were runny. The lounge was also a mess. The service was again extremely slow. One of the bar tenders I dont beleive understood english or how to make change. The other bar tender was nice tho. Oh and the lounge was so boring, no music or tv. The price was over the top. I paid £248 for 2 nites. This is a £50 a nite hotel at best. |

The hotel had a nice relaxed feeling about it and the Spa facilities were excellent, spotlessly clean and well laid out. The room was nice, clean tidy and comfortable. Staff were polite and made us feel welcome. Breakfast seemed a bit disorganised and chaotic. Unfortunately the choice on the Saturday morning was the buffet (Hot & Cold). The "hot" was only slightly warm and the only egg available was a poor scrambled effort even although we went in an hour before it finished. Didn't match the rest of the services but we didn't let it spoil our stay. Overall enjoyed our stay. |

A good central location in Pitlochry. Hotel staff were helpful. We asked for an early check in which was readily agreed to. Family rooms are large and nicely decorated Our double room was small and badly ventilated. One of our party had a single room which was tiny and cramped although other family members had a lovely large family room. |

i enjoyed the use of the pool and the sauna, steam room I was a bit disappointed that with my breakfast, the first choice I made was was Kedgeree, I was advised that the chef was new and did not know how to make it. I feel if that was the case it should not have been on the menu. Surely in a hotel the chef's should know how to cook everything on the menu. |

General decor/carpeting of corridors and other areas was poor and in need of replacement although inside the room was of a good standard.Tv was broken when we got into the room and after waiting an hour for someone to come and look at it we managed to do this ourselves. The bathroom was poorly furnished with only a piece of soap on offer for toiletries. |

rooms were clean and very comfortable. They seemed to have been fairly recently refurbished. The pool and spa were great and made the weekend break enjoyable. ~The bar had just opened and we had a meal - the food was very good but the poor barman was tending bar and serving meals and obviously had no training. Two out of three were served but no cutlery was given, the meal was cooling down by the time we got cutlery and condiments. |
