Location handy for Market and lanark loch. Breakfast nicely presented.
Adapted from another type of builing which could have been done to higher standard. Sloping floor in room, small room. Reception only manned occasionaly. Had to go looking for staff in order to have breakfast . Breakfast lukewarm.
Have stayed here last year ,all the staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was all you needed to set you up for the day.Had a good ,peaceful nights sleep again. Will be booking again for next year, ideally situated for where we were visiting.
Note there is a charge of £10 per dog on top of the booking price
Staff were wonderful and took the time to chat whenever we crossed paths. Food was good too!
Lumpy mattress. I put the duvet from the empty bed over my mattress for extra padding! I did have to unplug the electric air freshener in my room as they really bother me, giving headaches.
Everything. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in.
Got to question it's 4* status. Very rare to have the my room serviced, and when I did, it was because I asked. Information in room said that food available at night, but in reality they meant a weekend. Not a place to stay for business travellers, but plenty of horses if you like that.
The bistro, the room was really clean, comfy beds nice and quite and friendly staff
Room was a bit hot, no toiletries in the bathroom and could have done more towels
Staff were nice, bistro food good, room looked okay and clean
Because of there hardly being a decent wall between my room and the next I could literally hear everything that was being said and done in the next room, including their bathroom visits. I eventually managed to get to sleep with earplugs and my head under the duvet. I asked to change rooms but they were fully booked.
room was cosy and breakfast was nice
walking across damp grass to room no wifi in room although description said available everywhere hence why we booked television freeview was on and off all evening very poor signal
Comfortable room. Friendly, hospitable host. Delicious breakfast. Plenty of parking on outside of large equestrian complex. Walking distance to lovely pub for dinner.
No wi-fi in room.

friendly and functional
The people are lovely, it is very quaint and comfortable. The food was good and one day we made it back too late for dinner, but they made us a burger anyway!
the only teeny-tiny thing was lack luster water pressure.
The accommodation was very good albeit being detached from the main buildings and this suited us. Food very good.
Friendly staff who went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. Owner even gave us a lift to the venue of the wedding we were attending. Was a very peaceful nights sleep and had a nice breakfast in the bistro.
There was nothing to fault.
the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
A lovely room, good bed, slept very well and an excellent breakfast .
Location was interesting- loch was nice, New Lanark mill was close and worth visiting
Breakfast was chaotic alternative mornings, staff didn't seem to know what you needed or had ordered ( the night before)!
Staff were very flexible and accommodating. I couldn't fault anything. I enjoyed my brief stay. I would recommend your facilities and your staff.
The in-house bistro cooked excellent pizza!A nice walk was accessible fom the B&B after dinner. The bed was comfortable.
The bedroom we had(Newmarket)was small but adequate:however the walls were thin!Breakfast was slow due to staff shortages.
It was friendly and relaxed. Busy staff but not too busy to help or attend to anything you need. It was neatly located for easy access to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Will return but take advantage of the equestrian facilities as well next time.
Location, well-appointed room and en-suite - we would certainly come again.
Breakfast was good (plenty of toast!) but Lorne sausage was a bit hard a tasteless - well you did ask! Otherwise it was all very good!
The room was comfortable and clean
Loud banging doors from the young people below my room who kept me awake, then woke me the next morning, so got very little sleep.
The owner & staff were very friendly Very comfortble clean room Very good breakfast
i liked the way all the staff were extremely happy and helpful. Thank you so much for all your help. Loved it. Thought the room was cosy and unique.
Having to trudge across the grass to the room, but it was not a huge problem and all the positives outweigh that tiny problem.
Relaxed / easy going organisation A very good breakfast
