Nice and quiet, whilst being easily accessible for local area. Lynda even helped to track my mobile phone down after I left it in the taxi the night before; she couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The little cottage was comfy and cosy, and everything I needed was there, whilst being clean and well presented. Excellent place and this is where I'll stay every time I'm down to Pembs again.

The decor was lovely, attention to detail was exceptional.

Only downside was the requirement of paying with cash rather than a credit card, but we were able to pay the remaining bill via Paypal.
Cozy and beautifully decorated little cottage on a large farm. Several horses, sheep and dogs around, which made us feel right at home. Linda's husband welcomed us and she checked in on us a few hours after our arrival to make sure we were happy with everything and cooked a wonderful breakfast for us the next morning!

Feather quilt is worn, feathers leaking out making quilt very itchy, so very disturbed sleep, synthetic would be more appropriate for rental. Taps in kitchen extremely stiff. Attention was all on superficial eg.laying table place settings, ornaments and cosmetics, all rather cluttered. Had to put all the well intentioned room dressings away to use surfaces for our own things. Much better to get basics right, taps that work , and quilts that feel new, and deeply clean rather than scented. No smoke alarm. casual internet search showed decades ago under previous ownership there was a major fire there
Toaster, dogs that live there. Made us appreciate even more the understated quality and simplicity of the National Trust Cottage we had just come from.

A excellent accommodation, a whole apartment for the price of a hotel room. Beautifully decorated with lots of lovely touches to welcome visitors, beer in the fridge, chocolate bars, fresh eggs from the farm hens in the breakfast.

No negative comments at all.
Its a wonderfully interesting set up, down a little lane past old stables, old cottages, old buildings, old garden walls and then to the house with a beautiful lake in front. Personally and warmly greeted and led up to our suite, which was fantastic. A lovely comfy lounge, beautiful bathroom with corner bath, heated towel rails, smellies, heated floor too I think and a lovely comfy bed with a low window looking out onto the garden and lake. Sat in bed having a cup of tea watching a woodpecker right outside my window. Its quiet, peaceful, rural, wonderfully decorated, just plain and simple quality from the start to the end. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit: grapes, melon and apricots, a lovely Full English, tea and coffee, a nice chat with the owner who came to sit with us, you can just feel how much they love doing what they do. Thankyou for a great stay.
