Its a wonderfully interesting set up, down a little lane past old stables, old cottages, old buildings, old garden walls and then to the house with a beautiful lake in front. Personally and warmly greeted and led up to our suite, which was fantastic. A lovely comfy lounge, beautiful bathroom with corner bath, heated towel rails, smellies, heated floor too I think and a lovely comfy bed with a low window looking out onto the garden and lake. Sat in bed having a cup of tea watching a woodpecker right outside my window. Its quiet, peaceful, rural, wonderfully decorated, just plain and simple quality from the start to the end. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit: grapes, melon and apricots, a lovely Full English, tea and coffee, a nice chat with the owner who came to sit with us, you can just feel how much they love doing what they do. Thankyou for a great stay.
