Built in 1790, Sea Beach House is just a 2-minute walk from the beach and a 5-minute walk from Eastbourne Pier, offering free Wi-Fi, full English breakfasts and tea gardens. Room service with light lunches and snacks is available and in the summer months, a more extensive menu is offered in the tea gardens. Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:30 and a pre-booked 3-course evening menu is available. At Sea Beach House, each room has en suite bathroom facilities with bathrobes and free toiletries. The welcome and service at the hotel were superb. The room was comfortable and well-equipped although a little tired and in need of refurbishment. There were small special touches, for example chocolate mints at the side of the bed and also a cafetiere with sachet of filter coffee for making your own coffee in the room. The room was quiet and spacious, and the food was of first class quality. It was a total pleasure to stay at the hotel and I would definitely recommend the property to other guests I didn't like the fact that there was carpet in the bathroom, and also the fact that the water pressure was very very low due to our room being on the top floor.

Beautiful room.small but clean with a lovely sea view. owner very friendly and a great chef [lovely breadfast] Parking diffecult. Not sure of where entrance was at first as it was all locked up.

Very friendly and helpful owners, the second room I stayed in was just excellent, good breakfast, convenient location. All in all a nice and homey place and terrific value for money Wi-Fi connection on the second floor is unreliable, one room had a very uncomfortable bed and very low water pressure in the shower.

Brian the owner was very helpful and friendly and organized a snack for me on arrival. Breakfast was great too. The price was very good value for money indeed. Not their fault but the wind kept me awake and I had to leave the heating on all night it was so cold. I would definitely stay there again but next time have a room at the back of the house rather than a sea view one.

Очень милый отель со столь же милыми хозяевами! Очень домашняя атмосфера! Жили на третьем этаже, комната № 8. Окна выходили на черепичные крыши, чувствовали себя "Карлсонами"! Очень всё аккуратно, с душой! Каждый день пополняют запасы чая/кофе и кладут мятные шоколадки. Очень приятно внимание. Завтрак готовит сама хозяйка. Полный английский завтрак, очень сытно и вкусно! С удовольствием приеду сюда еще!

Room clean,quiet and comfortable with a lovely sea view. Central location. Free parking but could have been tricky finding a place - we were very lucky - right place right time.! Shower not so great but only there for one night so not a problem.

Nothing! Everything from the cold 'welcome' to unclean room, scruffy carpets, stained drawers. Did not stay for breakfast - that says it all. I took many photos of the room, but I do not want to cause them embarrassment! I did not use the bathroom - old fashioned hand held shower, jagged broken tile by bath. Bathroom carpeted - no pedestal mat by toilet - unhygienic. Thoroughly unpleasant. I had trouble connecting to wifi and was told it must be my i-pad. When I said I would have to find somewhere else, they said they had already debited my card, therefore I had to stay. I have since obtained a refund. I did not sleep and had to take my father to hospital early next day. It was not a leisure trip.

The owners made an effort to be friendly and helpful. The twin room was spacious. The bathroom seemed a bit damp. There was no mold, smell or anything like that but the toilet paper and towels always felt damp. But, then, it's an old property. This wouldn't prevent me staying again.
