Dating to the 1800s, this mill conversion provides an ideal holiday base from which to explore the quiet Machars Peninsula with its rugged coastline and sandy beaches. With the beautiful Galloway Forest Park and Seven Stanes close by, this is a popular area for walkers and cyclists of all abilities. Wigtown, Scotland&rsquo;s national book town, and Whithorn&rsquo;s historic dig and priory, are all close by, while nearby Newton Stewart has a good range of shops and pubs.
