The staff were absolutely friendly. Breakfast was good and served really quickly upon ordering. Continental breakfast was good as well with a range of yoghurts to choose from. Rooms were cosy. I stayed at the room facing the sea, the view was none less than excellent! The showers looked a bit old, but nevertheless there was still a constant supply of hot water.

Location was good, being nearby (walking distance) to the shopping area, Historic Wharf, HMS Victory etc. The hotel is a bit worn; wifi is free but poor reception, even in the reception area; and a lounge area was being renovated while I stayed there (so couldn't be used) - I would class it as 3 star.

Nothing Dreadful small bedroom & bathroom. Was not told by you that the bar was closed for redecoration. Nowhere to relax and have a drink.Checked out a day early rather than stay any longer and lost £105. Worse than a cheap b & b

The convenience to the area that we wished to visit. The staff were very good and helpful. Food excellent - best fillet steak had for a very long time. Very near to beach and about 30 minutes walk to the Historic Dockyard. Free parking at Hotel and didn't have to use the car whilst there at all. Will use again soon. The shower pressure wasn't that good but no worse than others we have stayed at in England however, the water was very hot and plentiful.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble. Room was very comfortable and clean. It was my wife's birthday the day we arrived and the card from the management and staff was a lovely touch. We had booked a table for dinner on the Monday evening but received a call from reception asking if we could bring our booking forward by an hour as we were the only people who had booked in for a meal. This gave us abut half an hours notice to get ready. It would have been a nice gesture to have been offered either a reduced price for the meal or a free drink but we were offered neither and had to pay full price for what was basically omelette and chips.

Very helpful staff. Room overlooked gardens and sea. Room small but adequate for a 2 night stay. Had to go down a steep flight of stairs to dining room. Also restaurant not available on the Sunday at all.

Friendly staff & location were great. It was more like a B & B than a hotel, therefore overpriced. The sound proofing was non existent between rooms & I could hear everything from adjoining rooms.

Staff were nice The sheets were covered in make up, the shower didnt work in the evening, outside the window was what appeared to be a dirty nappy. Also we paid £89 for one night and think it was poor value for money. I understand we booked late and it was the last room but I wouldn't stay again.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful, we were made to feel very welcome. Location fantastic. Comfortable, accepted our small dogs. Lift to our floor. Beautifully decorated restaurant and a refreshing breakfast menu, it made a change to be offered something different along with the traditional. Car parking. It made a wonderful weekend. There was nothing that we didn't like but it was a shame that the bar was undergoing a refurbishment...has to be done...if it's in a similar style to the restaurant it will be lovely...we'll have a drink next time we stay.

I stayed in the seacrest hotel with my partner as was visiting some friends. Staff were excellent and accommodation was clean and comfortable. There is also free parking which is a bonus as you have to pay for parking everywhere in southsea. Shower was a little dribble. that's it really.
