The hotel staff were friendly and helpful to the guests. There was a family atmosphere and the owners were obviously trying to ensure a "customer first" attitude from their employees. |

food was excellent. Service was very good. Place was quiet and very nice surrounding area. There was no hot water when we got to the hotel. We had to ask for the heating tobe switched on. The staff had said the boiler had been reset and the heating and water would be on in 1/2 an hour, which it was. However, there was no hot water in the morning? The rooms need a bit updating. The shower over the bath did not work. |

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food is gourmet and of the correct portion size (not tiny!!!) The room suite was very nice, claen & tidy with outstanding views. The location in Grantown is good for fishing, skiing, and walking with the mountain backdrop, whilst still able to provide a sociable "nightlife" with a few nice pubs and restaurants. |

We were upgraded to the best suite for no additional cost. The suite was very luxurious, and the staff / owners were very friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. The food was lovely, especially the included breakfast. |
