The stay was excellent unfortunately when I arrived after a long days travel found that there was no booking reservation made but the receptionist and manager managed to free up a spare room which did avert a crisis. Trying to find a room on Stornaway at 8-30 pm on a Tuesday could have proved difficult. Staff informed me next morning that there hadn't been a booking made by booking.com

Staff was excellent, friendly and very eager to please, so no fault there. Our room was small, tired and in need of an upgrade; nowhere in the hotel was very warm. All in all it was rather expensive for what was on offer at £118.00 for the room per night.

The hotel is very overpriced for what it is. The rooms were dated. It is advertised as near the town centre but in a quiet spot for a good nights sleep!! Didnt expect to be woken up at 7.15am by the builders next door! I thought they didnt start till 8.00am. Spoke to the manager who seemed very uninterested. Cant say I will be back.

It was central to the ferry port and to the business location we were attending. Car Parking, bed and catering were very good. Staff were very friendly and chef could not do enough for colleague with serious food allergy. The guest rooms were located upstairs via the residents lounge. This lounge had a snooker table and between it and the residents chairs were stacks of chairs piled up which blocked the access route to the bedrooms.

Receptionist was very nice and very helpfull on both days, 30th&31st Room Was clean Hotel looked tidy, first impressions were good Restraunt looks great Great residents lounge with snooker Breakfast was not Great, Cold, Milk was off and Juice had sedement in the bottom where it had been sitting. For a hotel of this size and how busy and the price to stay, you would think it would not be hard to do a decent hot breakfast, check that the milk is not rotten, and to check the food is actually ok, little things like that make a big difference you can tell the chef does not taste the food he cooks no hot water, tepid more like, heating isnt great, room was cold and damp, but it was clean,
