Seahaven Hotel

The bed was broken but all else was fine. Ann who is the there to greet one for breakfast is the main assett. Always smiling and helpful she will cook whatt you like. She even came in early on the weekend. Only contact excellent represenative.

Too noisy at night, there is a pub downstairs and there is no way to sleep until they close.

I enjoyed my stay a lot. sea coast is just over the road and also take-away restaurant. I´ll come back soon :) fantastic price per night, close to center tasty breakfast.

Very nice staff, cozy room, picturasque area, fantastic veiw from the window. It's a bit far from the center, but not a problem as the bus stop is just nearby.

Ann's breakfast was the pups nuts and loved trying the scone tatties & sausage.

Everyone were very friendly,and it was easy to get a bus to Edinburgh.

This hotel is very clean, nicely decorated throughout and the staff are excellent, especially Dawn and Anne (who makes a delicious brekkie, and spoilt my husband an I wrotten)

Only nit picking really but the pillows are really flat and uncomfortable. We told the manager of this and she was really apologetic

room small, no chair to sit on, no bedside light, so could not read my book as the only light was a low watt cieling light.

I liked the staff as they were very kind and helpful, the breakfast was really delicious. The room was comfortable and cozy. Very close to the beach (Firth of Forth) just in the neighbourhood.

Location was fab!! We went with our small dog to take him to the beach perfect! hotel and staff were lovely and very welcoming to our dog!!

The view from window is quite nice. Although it's now near city centre, but the bus is quite convinence. The staff there are quite nice and helpful.

The singal room is small and not very good at soundproofing. The music from pub is ongoing until midnight.

The staff were friendly and helpful. My son is disabled and he was well-treated and cared for. The breakfast was good in the price. Dog-friendly. Quiet when we were there (between Christmas+New Year.)

Accommodation very basic, but for the price we didn't ask for or expect more. One room had the lock hanging off--we fixed it with a pen-knife! Rather steep stairs! The rooms were not en-suite and a bit cramped. However we had the place to ourselves, and the bathroom was nearby. 2 very small towels--difficult for bathing!

The room was very clean, nicely decorated, and very cozy. It's was a great room for a single traveler. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very big and delicious. It is also very close to local transportation.

The were only a couple things that one should take into consideration when staying at Seahaven. There is load music playing during the day so if you're one for naps count that out. The other thing is that it is a bit out and takes about 30 minutes to get into the city of Edinburgh by bus.

Everything was fine. The single room was small but ok for one night. Everything was clean. The bus to the city centre goes regularly and directly in front of the hotel. It costs only 1, 40 GBP to go oneway to the city centre within 15 minutes. I would stay there again. Good breakfast.

Delightful location, beautiful view, immaculately clean, attention to detail (generally, see below!), excellent value

There was a mix-up resulting in breakfast not being available on first morning, which was annoying, and there wasn't really any apology, let alone any offer of compensation. However, breakfast on second day was excellent, and all's well that ends well. Overall my stay was very satisfactory.

Wireless internet was not working the room was tiny; felt kind of squeezed in the only way to access the room was having to pass through the bar in the evening and being non-alcoholic I did not like that breakfast was only served after 8am although they did give a packed breakfast it was not the same as having a warm breakfast

Very nice room, and even better staff. I booked two separate bookings because of a change in itinery, unfortunately that result in miscommunication between Seahaven Hotel and Bookings.com. When I arrived they only had my second reservation, not a problem, they upgraded my room and allowed me to unload my luggage before noon, so I could start my vacation before lunch! Room and bathroom meticulous. Hotel is on the 26 and 15 bus routes, which allows easy transit to the city. All day bus pass is only 3.50 pounds, and runs 24 hours a day. Great complimentary breakfast served 8-10 during the week, 9-11 on the weekend. Overall great hotel experience.
