Food in restaurant and bar was excellent, facilities good ie gym, pool etc.
Bedroom was poor, toilet dreadful, ie tile grout and ceiling at shower area had blackish limescale
Lovely stay at the Hydro, we booked a suite and it did not disappoint, large room with lovely view and big bathroom with bath and shower. Had dinner in the bar restaurant and it was very nice, steak was cooked to perfection. Did not use the spa but had a look around and the facilities looked good. Would recommend this hotel for its nice relaxing atmosphere.
The door being knocked on by cleaners at 8.50am, thought this was a bit cheeky seeing as checkout is not until 11am.
Love staying at Seamill, have done atleast once a year for 14years. A friendly with a bit of luxury stay, great facilities at the pool and spa and yummy breakfast. The Fulton family
No pool snooker or gaming machines for older children nothing for them to do esp if it's raining
Excellent hotel in an outstanding location.New bar lounge looks out towards the sea, very nice to sit with a snack or dinner and a drink watching the sun setting over the islands.
Cooked breakfast a bit basic for such a large, busy hotel.Lots of cereals, toast and yoghurts etc.
The refurbished rooms are a massive improvement and are very stylishly designed. I am a regular visitor to Seamill and have had a most enjoyable stay every time.
The leisure centre was excellent, food was superb. Great bass for sight seeing and walking.
Our room was large and clean but had a slight foesty smell
Had a great night at the Aura bar with three local guys Views out o room were awesome looking out onto Arran and Ailsa Craig and beyond Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful
I liked the acre and attention of the staff
Although it was a budget room, it still looked a wee bit shabby in the bathroom, could be doing with a lick of paint in there. Other than that, an excellent hotel
Location, staff and food was excellent
The pillows were not to our liking. We prefer feather
A lovely hotel with amazing food.
We have stayed here before and love the hotel but this time we had a room over the boiler room and it was awful. We couldn't sleep because it was so hot. Everything else was up to the usual standard.
Beautiful decor throughout. very relaxing atmosphere great staff lovely food
That we had to go out the hotel to our bedroom
Beautiful beach rear of hotel with views of the Firth of Clyde, Arran and Ailsa Craig. Polite and efficient staff. Beautiful suite with sea view, spotlessly clean with large beautiful bathroom.
Generous room size. Bath separate from shower. Menu
hotel was first class very helpfully and will be back
The staff could not do enough. I messed my booking up and they upgraded me free of charge rather than charging me extra for the suite I was given. The position - the hotel is directly overlooking a beach (with seals) and Arran in the background. Great WIFI connection. Very clean, tidy and modern. The pool was nice too (although a little small).
Nothing - it's one of the best hotels that I have stayed at.
bedroom needed up dating/bathroom also, quite small rooms for a 4 star hotel more a 3 star... no curtains up let light in room 68.
Excellent location with stunning sea views. Quiet, peaceful stay. Very clean accommodation. Friendly staff. Lovely pool/spa area. Classy breakfast/dinner restaurant. Relaxed bar/restaurant areas. Friendly staff, happy to serve and accommodate. Suites are large, plenty of room and big, comfortable beds. Very new and clean bathroom/shower rooms in suite. All mod cons available in suite including flat screen tv, kettle, plenty of plug sockets, lots of storage space. Can still use gym/pool after check out time. Useful travel and what to do/where to go advice given at reception upon check in.
First room allocated not sea view so asked for another. None available so upgraded to suite at discounted rate.
We were at a Wedding which was very well organised and went without a hitch. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. WiFi was an added bonus and worked perfectly.Food was also great.
Nothing to dislike, we enjoyed everything about our stay.
The pool was lovely, the room was very nice - huge comfy bed. Restaurant food was very nice and reasonably priced.
cobwebs/dust high up on wall in room. The suites were in purpose made "flats" which i hadn't expected, really nice inside, but not so nice outside.
This was our forth visit to Seamill and we weren't disappointed. staff and food always very good. enjoyed having hot breakfast served to us instead of buffet
The room was: - Too hot - Too small - Too noisy The grout in the bathroom was dirty and the ceiling also needed repaired. All in all not a great visit. Very disappointed.
Have been going to the hotel for over 30 years, lots of changes. The food is the best I have ever had at the hotel . The staff are all very good.
You could hear the music from the gym at 7 am. I was staying just above gym, slightly early for loud music. The beach just in front of the hotel needs cleaned, would not take much but would make a big difference.
The hotel, its restaurants and facilities are first class; a real bit of luxury.
Somewhat pricey, no Wifi in our suite.
