Evening meals far to expensive and the price alcoholic drinks
friendly staff great setting good breakfast
expensive bar room needs updating route out in the morning is very congested.. allow extra time if commuting from here
The food was extremely poor.we was expecting the wow factor for the prices and menu but it was far short of this.
We had a chance to upgrade for a small amount , our stay included a evening meal and was surprised that we could have anything from the menu which was all a la carte.food was surperb, service was second to non and staff was pleasant and helpful at all times
On our last day we was having breakfast and a large group who was meeting up there (50/60) took over the whole area of the lounge area and was very noisy and kept coming into the dinning area even though they had not stayed in hotel staff on duty did not do anything about this
Really nice hotel and staff, no issues at all
Only 1 hr free, false advertising if you ask me
Early wake up call from contractors at 7am..
I booked a Surprise Treat for my boyfriend for Valentines. The Hotel was really nice, friendly staff nice surroundings, clean and comfortable. We had a room with a lovely view
I felt let down regarding the confusing menu selection. There was 3.Having booked a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package especially as it was for Valentines, on given the Valentines Menu we were told it would be £30 extra per person. A little embarrassing for me. We chose the standard menu, not because of the extra charge, because we preferred the choices. Unfortunately our main course was not up to our expectations. We picked the Rolled & roasted pork belly with Stornaway black pudding, fricassée of cannellini beans, courgettes & roast peppers & sage, crisp crackling & apple sauce. The pork belly was nice but floated on the fricassée that was like a watery bland soup with very soggy sloppy veg. We had forks but you needed a spoon to eat it....very disappointing...we let the waiter know of which he said the chef will be advised but we weren't offered anything else. It spoilt our dinning experience and we were still hungry. As the food plays a large part in a hotel stay experience..we wouldn't return.
The staff were brilliant, really friendly. The food was absolutely amazing.
It would've been nice to get more than just 1 hour free wifi for the price we paid to stay here.
Staff were friendly and good hotel-standard food.
The manor house is attractive but the accommodation resembles student accommodation. Bedrooms are forgettable
The wifi, gym and food were all fine and worked well. The gym is a little small but usable and included in the price.
I was in room 250 and this was MILES away from everything. I think this made my stay less enjoyable. If I had been nearer to the main house facilities then this would have improved things.
Lack of comfort
Excellent breakfast - food quality was very good. Facilities very good
Location, rooms, food, leisure facilities, and of course, the staff were very helpful and the hotel was close to the lovely Northampton and Lamport Railway, we wish that everyone that stays at this hotel can go and support them, please!!! even if you just enjoy the walk along the track.
Room was too hot, even with the heating off and window open, and no bathroom towel heater, but the bed was very comfy and clean, otherwise - perfect.
The staff were pleasant Breakfast was good
You actually stay in a travellodge looking building attached to the nice building The walls are paper thin, when next door gets up, so do you Long black hairs in the bath.
Nicely extended Victorian house in very extensive grounds. Facilities quite impressive, pleasant staff. Good value - only slightly more expensive than nearest Premier Inn.
Poor selection of food on bar menu, quality so-so. Didn't use restaurant because it didn't open till 7pm
Coffee and tea facilities
Price of a beer, and the rooms could do with a face lift
Old Hall appearance from outside; setting; gardens; number plate recognition on entry. Bed was comfortable.
Initially unsmiling Receptionist. Long walk to accommodation in modern block. Carpet strands not trimmed by walls; bathroom in need of attention to grouting and dust build up in panelling. Didn't seem to have any control for heating.
Very relaxing and pleasant staff.
Facilities a bit dated but ok. Could do with a lift to 2nd floor accommodation
Staff were very helpful
Cleanliness was poor wifi very poor had to change rooms as sheets not clean they could do so much better
We came to stay at sedgebrook hall to visit family and to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. We had a very warm welcome from the start and that carried on throughout our stay. An upgrade was very easy to arrange and we were given the honeymoon suite. The room was very regal and was lovely to be in this room on our special day. Chocolates and a card from staff was a lovely surprise.
The room was a bit cold on the Saturday as heating didnt come on until 7oclock. I did ring down to the reception and was told to check radiators were switched on which was a little tricky as they have covers on them.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Mouldy grouting in the bathroom and dirty extractor fan as well as mould around the window frames! Even after they moved me to a 'better' room, it was still mouldy in the bathroom.
Fair value nice setting, staff helpful
Just a little tired and old fashioned in places but ok
The grand drive up to the property The main building itself The spa Fridge in the room
To many tables in the room Bathroom a bit small Having to get towels from main reception and then a code to get into the spa area
Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent lots of choice.
Rooms we're shabby needed upgrading. Bar prices were very high.
Lovely countryside setting, comfortable contemporary rooms, very helpful friendly staff. excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay there again
