The King room we stayed in was very well equipped, with a comfortable bed, and the room was quiet, away from the clubhouse. The staff were friendly and the food was enjoyable, good choice at breakfast. We stayed here for the location not the golf facilities. Unfortunately there was a strong unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke in the room, although no-smoking signs were everywhere. Hotel reception was the hotel bar in the clubhouse, which was unexpected but friendly staff made up for it - needs to be better signposted - we unloaded our luggage and had to load up again to drive to lodge rooms, which are approx. 40m away through car park, a walk which is not under cover and can be unpleasant in bad weather for breakfast. The distance would not detract from our staying again but non-golfers and the elderly should be aware. |

Friendly, helpful welcome. Luxury, comfortable bedroom with homely feel. Great choice and quality of breakfast. Price included 9 holes of golf, which made it even better value. |

When I booked in I was asked to pay, but the crdit card machine could not proint me a receipt, I was not offered a receipt and had to ask for one, arrangement for dinner and breakfast were not explained, at breakfast I was given a menu with prices on and it was not explained that as a resident I did not have to pay, I wasnot offered beverage refills at breakfast.I did not get the double bed I reserved, but was too tired to try and change rooms, plus I did not think that the staff would be able to cope with the request. |

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the food was very good - the homemade Thai fishcakes were the best I had tasted and the chips were hand cut, and the room and bathroom design was excellent |

The hotel rooms were fantastic and the country setting very quiet. We were upgraded to the highest quaolity room, mind, which wasa very nice. It was not made clear that the onsite dining would be in the golf clubhouse. It is 'eaterie' style, not gourmet or even restaurant style. This was a bit of a disappointment, although the food served was good quality and value, even so. |

It was clean comfortable and spacious. It was quiet. I liked the hotel but would not take my children next time. I did not feel it was very child friendly for younger guests. I do appreciate it's a golf hotel so is really suitable for older children and adults. I did enjoy my stay though .Was comfortable. |

The staff made us feel welcome and the surroundings where very relaxing. Our room was really clean and felt so refreshing, and it was heaven having breakfast on the patio A very petty minor, a screen on the bath for when you shower or a curtain, so as you dont soak the bathroom, would be nice, but in no way spoilt our stay |

Aangename ligging in een mooie en rustige omgeving met propere kamers. Het ontbijt was wel ok, maar het avond eten in het clubhouse viel wat tegen. Het volledige gebouw is niet rokers en geen huisdieren toegelaten. |
