Sedlescombe Golf Hotel  

The location - very quiet and peaceful. overlooking the golf course.The bedroom was very spacious, with very large king size bed, excellent nights sleep very comfortable, with leather sofa, well appointed bathroom with double sink and good sized bath, breakfast served in the club house was very good and well cooked good choice of cooked food.

Nothing greatly enjoyed the stay, though TV signal was poor maybe due to weather conditions and Freeview would have been a bonus

Staff in the golf club were very nice. Food was good, especially the breakfast. The rooms were very clean and comfortable! Could do with a shower though.

The room was excellent and the food was very good staff excellent..

The rooms are a long way from the bar and restaurant a 200 yd walk outside so you have to wear outside clothing to breakfast etc.When we arrived at Sedlescombe there was a sign directing to reception but that was the only one. Once parked there was know way of knowing where reception was we eventually found it at the bar in the restaurant although there was still no signs we had to ask a passing golfer. Although the food was very good, at breakfast we were told to help ourselves to cereal and nice homemade bread but there were no plates or knives to cut the bread and as the waitress was now attending to reception we had to wait some considerable time. Then when we checked out our bill was wrong.

Large tastefully decorated , spacious and spotlessly clean rooms . Lovely en-suite bathrooms . Very quiet and peaceful.

The service at breakfast was lacking and could do with catching up with the delightful accomodation facilities.

I was there for the golf school but was impressed with the room. Best of all was the staff, especially in the clubhouse. They were really helpful and friendly.

No proper shower in the rooms

Good facilities, large room, excellent breakfast.

Electric room heater only worked when room key was in the wall slot, so room always cold when you first walked into it.

Peaceful relaxing friendly not too busy and the chance to play golf whilst having a restful weekend - just perfect will be coming back.

Bed too soft not enough light in the room - small windows no shower

Every member os staff we met was extremely helpful and welcoming, from the hotel staff to the golf staff. The prices were fantastic, great value for money, and the food was well prepared and very good. We intend to return.

The only minor point was the lack of a shower in our room.

We stayed for 2 nights and felt that if we wanted any help or advice all staff were approachable, you could be left alone if you desired. We stayed for golf and will be going back

The kitchen should change there cooking oil more often as the restaurant area smells of old cooking oil and the chips served tasted and looked over cooked

We had a lovely time, breakfast was great!

Hotel ist mehr als überteuert....altmodischer Fernseher mit drei (3!!!!)Kanälen, weder Telefon, noch Minibar, eine knappe Auswahl beim Frühstück und trotzdem etwa € 120/Nacht ...

A lovely comfortable hotel , very clean , beautiful surroundings .

Service at breakfast was not organised and fairly poor. Disappointed no proper shower facility, only shower head on bath , no shower curtain or screen. Had older parents staying in other room with us who are unable to climb into bath. Lift out of order.
