The location - very quiet and peaceful. overlooking the golf course.The bedroom was very spacious, with very large king size bed, excellent nights sleep very comfortable, with leather sofa, well appointed bathroom with double sink and good sized bath, breakfast served in the club house was very good and well cooked good choice of cooked food. Nothing greatly enjoyed the stay, though TV signal was poor maybe due to weather conditions and Freeview would have been a bonus

Every member os staff we met was extremely helpful and welcoming, from the hotel staff to the golf staff. The prices were fantastic, great value for money, and the food was well prepared and very good. We intend to return. The only minor point was the lack of a shower in our room.

We stayed for 2 nights and felt that if we wanted any help or advice all staff were approachable, you could be left alone if you desired. We stayed for golf and will be going back The kitchen should change there cooking oil more often as the restaurant area smells of old cooking oil and the chips served tasted and looked over cooked

Good sized rooms, free internet, staff very helpful & friendly No showers in the bedrooms, they only have baths. Great restaurant and sports bar facility only problem was the speed of food, despite only 3 tables being occupied it took an hour to get a chicken burger... Both other tables also seemed to experience problems with their food, which was dealt with very well by the young attractive brunette working in the restaurant / bar. However she seemed to spend most of her time apologising on behalf off the chefs. All was made better with a free desert!!

Good facilities, large room, excellent breakfast. Electric room heater only worked when room key was in the wall slot, so room always cold when you first walked into it.

Very nice design in the Gold Lodge meant you felt it was a luxurious relaxing place to stay. We found the room relaxing and spacious, and the bathroom felt at the luxury end. Really quiet and lovely to wake up to great countryside views. The breakfast was really top notch, and the staff, although young, were really polite and attentive.

Fine for our purposes. Room and bathroom were very good and clean but see comment below. It was surprising there wasn't a fixed shower and shower curtain, only a hand one attached to the bath taps. This was inconvenient.

A lovely comfortable hotel , very clean , beautiful surroundings . Service at breakfast was not organised and fairly poor. Disappointed no proper shower facility, only shower head on bath , no shower curtain or screen. Had older parents staying in other room with us who are unable to climb into bath. Lift out of order.

Het hotel was op zich eenvoudig, redelijke keuken maar simpel, Het voordeel is het verblijf op een prima golfbaan met shop en trainers in een mooie omgeving.Kortom: vooral geschikt voor echte golfliefhebbers.
