Early booking into a room which was an upgrade. Friendly welcome. Hotel separate from club house. Size of room. View from room. Comfortable bed that was huge. Hot water all the time We were asked if we wanted any fish from the market for dinner that evening! Surrounding countryside breathtaking. Shower was hand held with no screen. Food a little overpriced for basic menu.

Everything was fab lovely room great setting and wonderfull helpful staff , excellent food in clubhouse restaurant . And 9 holes of golf each in price is a bonus too :) thoroughly recommend Nothing to dislike

lovely, polite and helpful reception and serving staff, great breakfast - cooked to order, great coffee, good free WiFi connection, big bedroom and bathroom, flannels in the bathroom. AC unit for room (room 21) heating is not ideal - blows air over the bed and makes some noise. the bed was a bit soft for my taste (nice linen though).

Staff excellent, food best i've tasted in a long while, room exceptionally clean. Generators/ fans attached to the outside of the room switched on and off every ten minutes not much sleep this was the only negative.

Food Golf Most staff helpful and friendly Shower difficult to use without water going everywhere Breakfast on second morning was put away by 10.00 despite it being available until 11.00 - not got out again, staff less helpful and unfriendly.

The fact it had en-suite an was clean also the breakfast was good. I' d have liked a chair near a mirror to see to my hair as was difficult with my straighteners needing to be plugged in where there's no mirror. I booked the Queen room which looked like it had a sofa but didn't get that! So watching tv the only way was sat on bed but the bedstead was high so visibility not good!

Nothing was to much trouble for the staff who were all very friendly The poached eggs in the morning would have been more delicious had they not tasted of vinegar. But this is a very minor complaint

Staff were very friendly and caring. All were anxious to please and to go out of their way to accomodate one's every wish. Food was excellent and loved the full english breakfast included in the room rental. Very nice atmosphere.

Location Very central, Staff very very helpful, Very Clean, Quiet & Confortable, would stay again.. No standing shower, but I like to soak in bath when away, so no problem for us. I love feather pillows & did find their pillows on the hard side, but saying that would stay again...

Excellent breakfast. Staff helpful and friendly. Large room. Clean. Pleasant setting. Hard pillows of poor quality. No hair dryer. No shower, bath handset only. Warm air heating.
