Sefton Express Hotel  

Convenient, clean friendly, only stayed one night and had early start so not much to say.

Bed to hard but each to there own a.

The staff are typical of the local Manx people; friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was good, simple fare but with a sensible amount of choice and perectly prepared from first class ingredients. The room was small but had a huge comfortable bed, plenty of shelf and hanging space and good facilities. The bathroom was spotless and well appointed with good ventilation and a clean, roomy feel. Stay in at least one evening and enjoy the 'bar' where you'll feel like one of the family while you try some of the local bottled beers.Castletown is a short (15 minute) walk away in one direction, Balasalla a bit closer in the other direction. Buses run every day from the Airport bus stop just a couple of minutes walk away to many key places on the island and there's a request stop on the steam railway just round the corner.

They don't do desserts! - So buy some cakes in Castletown!

Relaxed atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff. Our arrival was late due to bad weather but staff stayed to book us in. Also the car park was a big plus for us. I will be a returning customer in the future.

Twin room would have been a little cramped if we had needed to stay in the room for any length of time during the day.

Quick and easy check in and check out. Very helpful staff, no excessive fuss, clean and comfortable, all a single night traveller requires ata reasonable price.

The sheer friendliness. Also clean, eager to help, value for money, quiet despite being at an airport, we were very very glad we chose the Sefton Express. It is not in Douglas IoM of course but that is perhaps an asset as parking in Douglas is impossible whereas at The Sefton Express there is masses on site & free. They do a tasty though limited menu, have a bar, beds are comfy, breakfast perfect. It does exactly what it says on the tin. We liked it. Mms & bms

It was basic, clean, and comfortable

The room was small. Myself and my daughter were out numbered by male workers staying at the hotel. It didn't feel family friendly.

Not much space for clothes if staying for more than a couple of days

The cleanliness and the bedroom facilities were very good. Quite comfortable and the staff were helpful. The reception area was abit plain and the hotel best situated for the airport only as there are no bars or shops nearby. This hotel is really only for short stays b&b which was ideal for us. It is not a holiday hotel but a good base to travel from.

Ground level hotel room window was a bit too adjacent to car park for comfort
