Room was spacious but dated
Door didnt fit and windows didnt close properly when weather changed it was noisy and cold
The room was spectacular with a view of the water that was priceless. We ate breakfast in the hotel every day we were there because it was so good. I would not hesitate to recommend the Sefton.
The wifi is a little slow but that's a minor gripe.
Everything about the hotel was great and the food exceptional in the Gallery restaurant.
Seagull living on my windowsill and pecking at window all night
Excellent location Friendly staff Amazing breakfast Lovely room Superb sea view
Wifi was poor Pillows were bit firm

Lack of early breakfast facilities for Belfast travellers leaving at 7am. No swimming pool. Lack of updates in accommodation for regular visitors even for «Privilege Members»
Good location and breakfast was reasonable although nothing special. Room was clean and spacious.
Room had a view into the back alley which is never good.
Polite & cheerful staff .... Nice & clean bathroom ...
Swimming pool is closed . Gym is not open at all times ... Quite tired carpets but the smiles of the staff over powers the downside ...
Breakfast was good and fresh, also room service food was good. Thats it really !!!! if it was a 2 star i wouldn't complain.
Very expensive and not a 4 star. Stayed with my 16 year old son and to be honest we are not the fussy type and very rarely moan, we just get on with it. I wanted to treat him to a good stay in a nice hotel as i nearly died in January due to heart problems. We go the Isle of man every year for a week to go fishing and have some fun. we have stayed in various hotels over the years but never leave a feedback. i had to this time. the hotel cost us £540 for 4 nights !!!! Has got drain problems and the room had a bad smell of drains, no other room to change to due to a wedding at the hotel. Beds were very hard, The hotel is really in need of a makeover but the staff were good mostly Polish. No way is this a 4 star hotel.
The breakfast, the sir norman bar,the size of the room and quality of the bathroom
The lift not working, the swimming pool was small and too shallow for swimming, the sauna and the steam room locked and not in use. The view from an executive room of the rear of the hotel overlooking the waste bins.
Staff were helpful and the room spacious and comfortable. The waiting on staff in Sir Normans bar & restaurant were attentive and the food was very good
No real complaints but one observation - install air conditioning in the rooms
Location was great, staff welcoming .All in all an enjoyable stay.
The hotel overhall in apperance eas good
The bedroom was like a green house no ventillation no air conditioning and when you have a 3 year old for 3 nights beening so reast less in these conditions we actually left 1 day earley and believe me that is a first in 30 years of stopping in hotels around the world. Whats more the staff did not evencare it was as if they were use to it,when talking to staff and management they were fully aware of the uncontrollable temperature and one member of staff even comented that " you are lucky its hot its like an ice box in winter". and believe me this is the first time i have ever commented badly on an hotel in my life
Visited to pay respects to my cousin who died in the TT races in 1970 & tick Isle of Man off our list. The location was great, Sir Norman Wisdom lounge food excellent, staff very helpful, parking secure and walking the promenade each night before a nightcap was very nice.
the atrium garden
some of the older rooms
It was a very homely hotel - as if an extension of your own home - and the staff went out of their way to ensure the stay was of the highest order
Sea view. Pleasant bar. friendly staff.
Everything in room,old and dated.
Our room with a sea view was lovely, a good size room, comfy bed and very nice to have table and chairs by the window. The food in the Gallery restaurant was excellent, very attentive staff..very good
the swimming pool was very disappointing. I particularly chose the hotel as it had a pool. I was alone in the pool but because of the shape and depth of the pool, swimming was a matter of a couple of strokes. I used the pool once and didn't bother again. I did notice I was the only one on that day and only one person used the pool the 2 previous days so I am not alone with this opinion. The pillows on our bed were a joke, thin and cheap and the blanket had a tear in it. we were disappointed to only be able to get a booking on our first night. The 2nd night if was full and then Sunday it was closed.. A bit odd for a hotel restaurant to be closed on a Sunday, we did use the bar to eat in but though ok not as good.
Good food in the Gallery
Red lift out of action meant a long walk to our room
Room was very spacious and staff did their best to arrange a late check out for me to avoid encroaching on my meetings.
The glazing in my room must have been tissue paper grade. I had the sound of traffic to contend with all night.
lovely views down the prom.....
some areas needed updating
Room size & location
No lift under staffed in breakfast room. Most staff would not or could not speak to you.
