Right across from Worthing Train Station, this traditional hotel from the late 19th century has a restaurant, bar and comfy rooms. Worthing seafront is a 15 minute walk away via the center of town.

Whilst I was here I had a great stay staff where fantastic breakfast was great. I was greated in a kind friendly way I felt at home with my two children. I couldn't ask for a better short break I give a big thanks to doreen and her husband.
Run by very pleasant, friendly and helpful couple. Nice guest lounge. Lovely large en-suite to single room. Very nice cooked breakfast.
I can't think of anything.
Very warm welcome, room was nice and I slept very well. Breakfast was good too. Enjoyed my stay and would stay again x
The person in next room to me was very noisy from 6am.
Good value for money. Excellent location and very friendly and attentive owners.
Double bed matress too soft. Pity that the internet was down for the whole of our stay.
the owners were both friendly and helpful. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the quality of the breakfast excellent. I have to be honest I had misgivings about staying in a small B&B as quality really can be hit and miss - irrespective of reviews. However Selwood did not disappoint and you should have no such misgivings. Should we travel to Bognor again I would be happy to stay here.
I was a little disappointed that there was no on site - off road- parking. However, this really is a minor gripe.
The owner was lovely and so accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble.
Dining are too cluttered and stuffy
The breakfast was really nice and Doreen pleasant. Near to the shops in bognor.
The room was a bit basic. The bed not very comfortable.
Good Value Great Breakfast Went out of there way to make our anniversary and birthday very special Easy parking
Very friendly bed and breakfast ... Stayed with a 3 year old and 10 month old .. Breakfast was lovely
Homely and comfortable, excellent breakfast. Certainly stay again should the need arise in this part of the world. No entry here
No entry here does not mean it has been overlooked!
It was only a few minutes walk to both the town centre & seafront but situated in a fairly quiet residential area. Run by friendly and helpful staff.
I had to park my car in the street outside.
easy parking. location. room and breakfast
friendly welcome from host, exetent food for breakfast.
Excellent hospitality & lovely breakfast too.
not particularly welcoming
The toilet wouldn't flush. We told the owner after breakfast and she told us we should have woken her up after midnight she it happened because the water was running all night. She told us what to do if it didn't flush again and we had to take the lid off after every flush. It was not repaired
Only a short walk to the town, the seafront and Hotham Park. Clean room, friendly staff and a good choice of breakfast.
We had an early flight so requested an early breakfast . The lady owner was very accommodating and the breakfast was lovely . The room was clean and well furnish .
Everything, including the little dog!
No complaints at all
Very uncomfortable beds either too soft or too hard. Both never stopped squeeking , head boards loose. Bathroom very narrow possibly a former cupboard. No light in bathroom just shaver light. Lounge and bar dark and musty pool room bird in cage seed all over floor and seat. Photos on web site very misleading if you don't like clowns don't go here the dining room is full of them. This is also a rough area . There is also a query over prices I was quoted one price on booking.com there was another price at reception and yet another in the bedroom information pack needless to say we were charged the most expensive £75 a night as quoted on this site . The ones at the b&b were £60 to £70.
Very quiet location and easy for parking. Very clean room and comfortable bed meant we had an excellent night's sleep. Dining facilities are good and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast, even catering for my wife who is coeliac (requiring a gluten free diet). Very good value for an overnight stop. We would certainly recommend Selwood Lodge to others.
Was not sure what to expect when entering the premises but this was soon forgotten when we were greeted and made to feel at home by the owners. Shower hose leaked but managed to use the shower regardless of this.
The room was good. The shower was excellent, apart from the fact that I couldn't open the shower gel sachet provided. Fortunately I had soap of my own but it is a bit late to discover this problem when you are already wet all over! The breakfast was really nice although it was a bit slow to come.
The bed wasn't very comfortable. This has to be the most important thing of all in any hotel or guest house. The mattress was a bit hard and, even after trying all combinations of the pillows, I didn't real get a good night's sleep and wole up with a stiff neck.
Peaceful , comfortable and a very good breakfast .
The place was very clean, the food was very good as was the staff.
Nothing to dislike really
