Only location The rooms are vary small-claustrophobic. The facilities that was advertised when I booked the hotel weren't the same. The staff wasn't friendly and even aggressive when I asked for explanation why the room is not the same that I booked. Actually nothing good to remember. No any apologize for inconvenience and not enough fair offer from the manager side. I don't know what kind of board in UK give such amount of stars to the Hotel. Let they visit France, Germany or Italy.

It had a room for four persons. It was nice big beds. Not to small of a room. When I n´made the reservation probably was a deposit taken from my account. My friends was supposed to pay the hotell. I had a lot less money to spend, and Idid not know why the mmoney was taken. I have not yet gotten the money back! This was a big dissapointment.

The Location was perfect for Paddington Station As a solo traveller my room was (Guess what)in the basement at the back- there was a wardrobe halfway across the window, mind due there was no view!!Room next to the lift shaft- constant noise - could hold a conversation with the guests in the next room, wall so thin - never stay there again. Why should single people be treated as second class citizens when it comes to Hotel accommodation?

The bed was comfortable enough. Reception staff useless and indifferent. I have never encountered such a poor attitude at any accommodation place. Eve, I think is her name, on morning shift, is aweful. We attempted to report an injury due to a fall in the poorly designed bath/shower. They could not find a book to do that. We were told to walk to a nearby hospital. No medical care was offered. No transport was supplied. I am still suffering from the injury. The room was hopeless: tiny, inappropriate furniture, no fridge. Definitely NOT value for money. Definitely will NEVER stay in that place again.

We chose this hotel because it was close to Paddington Station and access to Heathrow on our last night in England. The rooms were clean and the airconditioning was appreciated as it was unusually hot in London. The bed was too soft and the pillows were unsupportive and uncomfortable. We were meant to be meeting up with my niece and so I asked if she had booked in yet and they said she did not have a booking - my niece asked the same question about us and got the same answer. Apparently that is their response to respect privacy but it would be much more helpful if they had just said they had a policy of non-disclosure rather than lying to us. The rooms were tiny.

Lovely room. Split level. Cosy but smart No proper bar to sit and drink in, in the evening, making it somewhat formal. There are two reception areas, one part would be a fantastic space for a chic little bar!

Very professional front desk staff. Front desk staff member kindly ordered a taxi for me (to the local bar as it was snowing). He informed me that the price of the taxi would be £3. However, on arrival at my destination (just around the corner) the taxi driver charged me £8 and told me this was the minimum charge.

Nice hotel and rooms apart from being misadvertised!!!! 2 beds instead of 4 I booked a quad room, which was advertised as being 4 beds in a split room. This is what i booked because this i was i wanted. I was given a normal sized hotel room with 2 double beds!!! I was there with a couple and a female friend which meant I had to share with my female friend which was not what we had intended. Luckily we are good friends so it was not too much of a problem but on a whole it was completely unacceptable. I booked a room with 4 beds. I got a room with 2. When I asked at reception the girl said "oh sorry you are in the wrong room" but then a male member of staff walked over and said "no thats your room, you can look at another thats the same" I explained the situation but he just shook his head at me.

It was a lovely hotel very clean, our room said deluxe ? it was decorated nicely & the furniture was ok lovely bathroom, comfy bed only slight problem was the room was very small had to turn sidewides to get by it, but it was only a base so would recomend it, I paid £79 ive paid more than that to stay in dives at kings cross, its only a 5min walk from paddington station so easy to get to.theres shops pubs & resurants rnd it. Came back to have a drink in the hotel bar at 11.10 but it had closed.

The location and staff are good. Good location in the sense it's very near to Paddington Train Station and that make it easy to travel via Express Train dirrect to Heathrow Airport. The mattress was unfortable. The spring one of the mattress was not balance. When I sleep I feel like sliding to one of the side. The room was 404. Other then that everything are ok and the room are really warm for winter traveller :)

“Excellent staff and location, the staff are the No1 factor for a stay at this hotel. The location close to the city centre and transport connections is excellent. Oxford Street is within walking distance (15-20 mins) and Queensway is only 5 minutes away for reasonably priced restaurants. ” Gerry, Kilcock |
