Score from 1402 reviews Very good
The location is good, the staff is very friendly. Breakfast was OK.
The room was about 3m2; the smallest I've ever experienced. There was some noise coming from the street. The value for money was not OK for a single room (and I'm aware of the situation in London).
Location and friendliness
Staff very friendly and room spotless
WIFI signal very poor
The room I was allocated has an ajoining room separated by a door, could hear noise from next door room and didn't feel as private as normal hotel rooms.
Clean and comfortable, central position with helpful staff, nice room
Value for money
Don't be put off by the small seemingly obscure entrance between shops. The hotel though compact, is clean and functional. Yes the rooms are small but this is central London and the price is reasonable. Staff were helpful, breakfast is included in the price and whilst it is fairly basic it is more than acceptable.
Not really enough space to work on laptop etc in the room.
Good value all round
The staff. Very helpful and friendly. The location near subway station was very good.
The room was small; it was difficult to move inside it
Great location. Polite, helpful staff & great facilities. Would recommend & definitely stay there again.
Clean, location, staff, location
Location, it was quiet, nice staff.
Great location and close to 2 tube stations. The shower was really was fantastic.
The first room we were in, an 'Executive double' and it really was anything but. There was about a foot between the bottom of the bed and the wall with a hairdryer sticking out half way along. The next room we moved into was slightly better!
Booked it for Olympia Horse Show - the rates were really good for that time of year and only a 10 minute walk.
Friendly staff, spotless room, convenient location, good value for London
Room was very small, breakfast facilities basic
Location is great, straight drive into London from Wales and straight into Kensington High Street. Hotel was lovely, clean and comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel is in a good location l stayed in s single room which was clean and comfortable also warm
The person on reception when I checked out was quite rude and kept insisting I paid for drinks which I had not had then for phone calls I had not made shame because otherwise pleasant stay as
Value for money and location
THE SIZE OF THE ROOM AND SIZE OF THE BED, BOTH WERE VERY SMALL.
Location isn't bad. Hotel staff is friendly. You can enjoy a free tea, coffee and bottled water in the room.
I've booked an executive double room, but struggled to find a place to open my suitcase as the room was very small. Not sure why they call it "executives double"... The hotel almost doesn't have a lobby and their restaurant is just a few tables in a small room called lobby.
Not for people who wish to spend a lot of time in hotel ie lounge bar restaurant
Bed was confortable and clean. Location was pretty good. Wifi coverage good but the speed a bit slow.
Room in the smallish side Air conditioning a bit noisy.
Location and price. Breakfast was very good if a little cramped. terrific shower. Room was very clean and roomy.
View from bedroom. Other reviewers had mentioned the view and it certainly didn't disappoint. Our room had a view of air-conditioning units and a workmans shed. But you don't sleep with the curtains open,so, all was well.
Small, intimate hotel, very comfortable and clean.
Would have liked better lighting in the bathroom and the breakfast bar is not situated in a very good place when several people arrive at the same time, too congested.
Well, the decor was stylish and modern, and the room was nicely presented, also the rate I payed for the night was reasonable for the middle of London.
Unfortunately that was all that I like, everything else was a big disappointment! My stay was a surprise for my partner for our year anniversary (I also informed the hotel of this and got no reply or communication that they had received the special request) staff where grumpy and some what rude! The room was tiny, I had to get changed infron of the door and there was no room in the bathroom or around the bed to even move! The continental breakfast was very poor, a few croissants and slices of salami along side luke warm boiled eggs (food safety hazard!) I wasn't expecting the world, but a bit or presentation and pride can go along way! I also wasn't informed that there are 2 locations to The Seraphine, a good 15-20 minute walk from eachother, I turned up to the address I was email in the conformation and was told "you're at the wrong hotel, you need to go down the road" obviously I asked where and a very unhelpful receptionist replied "it's down the road about 5 mins" so I wasn't to please to be walking a lot longer then 5 minutes with to very heavy bags. All in all not a very pleasant stay.
