Excellent bus and tube links. Safe area for walking.
Comfortable beds Spotlessly clean. Brand new, immaculate shower room. Modern stylish furnishings. Quiet room and good Nights sleep. Lovely continental breakfast, pleasantly surprised. Good location.
good location. clean room, and good bathroom. the water is running very well, this you can not enjoy in many London hotels.
the size of the room.
I was working with Opera Holland Park so the location could not have been more perfect for me. The room was very comfortable and I liked the option of being able to open the window.
Location of the Hotel
Due to the location I felt safe at all times. The staff were very helpful. I had a front street facing room that was pretty much sound proof from the busy street below. The room was cleaned daily and to a high standard. It was also air conditioned which was a god send with the humid weather and you could turn it off if you didn't want it.
The shower temperature did fluctuate somewhat so that was a little disconcerting at times. But the pressure was excellent .
Very friendly and efficient Excellent room facilities Great location
Location was good for Holland Park Opera Staff were polite Hotel was clean and everything working. Nice shower
Very small room and so ok for short stay. Not so sure about longer.
location, very cool room on a very hot day, quiet, modern, clean, complimentary water.
Breakfast was very poor, processed ham and cheese and low quality - however for price of room, I consider breakfast was only a freebie, so did not alter our opinion of the hotel.
The hotel was just a short walk away from the tube station and was easy to find,it is quite a small hotel but the room was well decorated in a moden style with air conditioning, breakfast consisted of a large selection of continental style food.
We had the classic no view from the window, we had to keep one set of curtains closed because our room over lokked a flat roof, from the other window we could just see the high street through a small gap between us and the building next door. The hotel is above a restaurant and the stairs are quite steep and we could not seem to get the left to work.
Very friendly, helpful staff Comfortable room, nice breakfast.
I travelled for business purposes the location was very good. the hotel is clean and comfotable
staff breakfast location
plenty of activity in the street ,close to Kensington palace good restaurants close by
We stayed for 4 days and nothing to complain, staff made us feel very welcome ,very clean hotel and easy to travel to anywhere. Will highly recommend.
Shower was excellent. Breakfast was good
Rooms small wifi passwords didnt work
Great Location, great breakfast, clean room and bathroom. Helpful staff.
Comfortable bed, convenient location, good free breakfast, clean room.
Access to room was inconvenient. (walk up to lobby on second floor and then up to room on forth floor. Narrow stairway. Dicey lift. Room and bath room were very small. Tight fit.
Fantastic staff Ample continental breakfast Great bathroom
The staff were very friendly and the location of the hotel was excellent
The room was small
Bed was super comfy, staff were lovely, breakfast was great.
was 25 degrees in room - aircon was too loud to Have on for long - window looked out onto massive vent which was louder. Didn't sleepy at all.
The staff is straight to the point, and "matter of fact", so don't expect a smiling, friendly welcome... but they get the job done. If Kensington is a "must" for you, then the Olympia will do. The building is narrow, and a bit old, but the actual room was plenty comfy and nice for my taste: modern enough, and functional enough that I had no complaints. The WiFi was adequate, but they make you get these password slips of paper every 24 hours for a new password to access it. Very inconvenient. Room safe, but no ironing board or iron in room. However, they quickly provided me with both upon request with no issues.
Even though you're directly on the High Street, there aren't many bars or restaurants to choose from (try Bill's in the High Street underground station -- it's good, quick, and easy). There area few, but it's not a "night life" kind of area. No late night food options either. The hotel IS a few short blocks from a tube stop, so, you can get around London fine when needed. Would I stay there again? Yes, but I would explore other options next time. BUT, it's really not that bad of a hotel for the basics. Try it, if nothing else.
very small rooms
Small beds that was the only thing wrong
I thought the room was excellent. The staff were very helpful . Overall I would rate you as far better than some so called 5 star hotels I have stayed at. Many thanks for a very pleasant stay.
