Friendly staff, spotless room, convenient location, good value for London
Room was very small, breakfast facilities basic
Location is great, straight drive into London from Wales and straight into Kensington High Street. Hotel was lovely, clean and comfortable with very friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel is in a good location l stayed in s single room which was clean and comfortable also warm
The person on reception when I checked out was quite rude and kept insisting I paid for drinks which I had not had then for phone calls I had not made shame because otherwise pleasant stay as
Value for money and location
THE SIZE OF THE ROOM AND SIZE OF THE BED, BOTH WERE VERY SMALL.
Location isn't bad. Hotel staff is friendly. You can enjoy a free tea, coffee and bottled water in the room.
I've booked an executive double room, but struggled to find a place to open my suitcase as the room was very small. Not sure why they call it "executives double"... The hotel almost doesn't have a lobby and their restaurant is just a few tables in a small room called lobby.
Not for people who wish to spend a lot of time in hotel ie lounge bar restaurant
Bed was confortable and clean. Location was pretty good. Wifi coverage good but the speed a bit slow.
Room in the smallish side Air conditioning a bit noisy.
Location and price. Breakfast was very good if a little cramped. terrific shower. Room was very clean and roomy.
View from bedroom. Other reviewers had mentioned the view and it certainly didn't disappoint. Our room had a view of air-conditioning units and a workmans shed. But you don't sleep with the curtains open,so, all was well.
Small, intimate hotel, very comfortable and clean.
Would have liked better lighting in the bathroom and the breakfast bar is not situated in a very good place when several people arrive at the same time, too congested.
Well, the decor was stylish and modern, and the room was nicely presented, also the rate I payed for the night was reasonable for the middle of London.
Unfortunately that was all that I like, everything else was a big disappointment! My stay was a surprise for my partner for our year anniversary (I also informed the hotel of this and got no reply or communication that they had received the special request) staff where grumpy and some what rude! The room was tiny, I had to get changed infron of the door and there was no room in the bathroom or around the bed to even move! The continental breakfast was very poor, a few croissants and slices of salami along side luke warm boiled eggs (food safety hazard!) I wasn't expecting the world, but a bit or presentation and pride can go along way! I also wasn't informed that there are 2 locations to The Seraphine, a good 15-20 minute walk from eachother, I turned up to the address I was email in the conformation and was told "you're at the wrong hotel, you need to go down the road" obviously I asked where and a very unhelpful receptionist replied "it's down the road about 5 mins" so I wasn't to please to be walking a lot longer then 5 minutes with to very heavy bags. All in all not a very pleasant stay.
the location was excellent and the staff was always available to help
the small sink in the bathroom which splashed water because the basin was too small
Front desk staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable and tasteful. Breakfast was perfect. Good coffee and a lots of choice. Location was perfect. Close to everything you want to see or do in London.
location, clean and well maintained
room was small
STAFF WERE REALLY GOOD....NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH BOTHER....
ROOM SMALLER THAN EXPECTED...BUT THEN I ONLY SLEPT THERE...SO DIDN'T REALLY MATTER!!!!!!
Great location, access, comfort and cleanliness.
Staff could have been a little more upbeat and welcoming & some minor room maintenance should also be considered (emailed Best Western separately)
Room was very good. Staff were fine. Other facilities outside of the room were limited.
Left my phone charger in the room. Tried to contact hotel directly by e-mail, but not sure whether I got the correct e-mail - surprisingly hard to contact them directly! Anyway - no phone charger forwarded!
On the high st Close to shops& restaurants Lovely coffee at breakfast
Eating breakfast in hotel reception Manager unfriendly Stairs
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and bed. A good breakfast to start the day.
Hotel only has double beds! twin rooms are not available
Room at the back of hotel, nice & quite. Clean, very small but modern, new, shower room Bed comfortable
No way is it a 4 star hotel! There is a basic, uninviting breakfast area where the reception is, plus the reception doubles as a small inconsequential bar area. How can it be rated 4 stars???? We had a very small double room that was supposed to be "a deluxe double" and marketed as "Spacious" Ha! I felt ripped off - even by London standards! Totally uninviting (that word again) and basic.
Being right on Kensington High Street. Helpful staff. Good continental breakfast
My single room was tiny, and the bed was too short. Problems with my room key card and with the wifi.
without the mouse it would have been a nice stay.
My room was upgraded when I got there. however a mouse ran across this room and out the door. The staff did not seem surprised when I told them but said it was probably gone now. Later while I was lying on the bed a MOUSE climbed up the throw at the end of the bed looking for food. I changed rooms to a different floor however I could hear scratching in the wall all night. Even though the person working there saw the mouse I was only given back 10 percent of my fee.
Staff was friendly and very helpful. The room cleaner was friendly. My room was perfectly clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was alright. The location is absolutely excellent, and you cannot beat the price.
The wifi connection wasn't the best ever, but it was good enough to hold a Skype conversation (so it was as good as can be expected).
